The harpies on “The View” can’t help but showcase their hypocrisy when commenting on current affairs. After all, many would argue they are little more than Democratic Party propagandists.
Co-host Sunny Hostin is shameless in exposing her duplicity, as seen on Thursday’s show when she called Nikki Haley an ageist for suggesting that 80-year-old politicians may be a bit past their prime. What’s more, she fell back on fired CNN host Don Lemon saying Haley was past her prime at 52 to set up her attack.
“The other thing that I find her to be hypocritical about is she went off because Don Lemon said that she was older, that she was past her prime,” Hostin said. “This is what she says on Saturday in New Hampshire, ‘My parents are up in age, and I love them. But when you see them hit a certain age, there is a decline. That’s a fact.’ She’s talking about her own parents.”
Ignoring a contrast of 30 years, she continued, “Then she says, you know, she starts attacking Joe Biden and Donald Trump on their age. She’s an ageist, yet she was offended when someone talked about her age. Hypocrite!”
I’m with Sunny. Nimrata Nikki Haley is an ageist. There are clips and posts where she criticizes the President’s age and his mental state of mind. #TheView pic.twitter.com/23eWmnWkFH

Co-host Sara Haines reminded Hostin of the age difference, “But remember, you’re calling a man old at 80 and a woman at 50.”
Co-host Joy Behar chimed in to defend Lemon, remarkably claiming that a woman is “perceived” to be past her prime at 50 — such a comment from a conservative host would likely end their television career.
” I have to defend Don Lemon a little bit because I don’t think he meant that he thinks a woman is over the hill. A woman is perceived as over the hill,” the 81-year-old Behar said.
“But that’s my point, is that the world perceives 50 as you’ve crossed over, and 80, those men are still kickin’ it,” Haines countered.
The irony here is that these so-called feminist TV personalities went to bat for Lemon when he targeted Haley in April 2023 for making age an issue — that’s the ground one must cover when tasked with propping up Joe Biden.
“I will say that I don’t believe in my experience with him that he’s a misogynist. I think he loves women,” Hostin said at the time. “He loves his mother. He loved his sister. He loves me. He loves Joy [Behar].”
After reluctantly admitting that Lemon “said some things that were sexist and I think ageist,” she stressed that he “apologized for them and received formal training.”
Chief propagandist Whoopi Goldberg went even further, suggesting that the network set up Lemon by moving him to a morning show with two women cohosts.
“If you’re concerned that somebody is a misogynist, why would you put them with two women to do a show if you feel that way?” she asked. “So, for me, it seemed odd when they gave him that show. And I thought, ‘Well, this is – it seems a little strange.’ But, you know, I’ve known Don forever, too. I didn’t work with him. We’re just friends.”
