Having “burned his boats,” Robert F. Kennedy Jr. joined Tucker Carlson to discuss his role with a potential administration, fighting Democrats for ballot access and how a former CIA director allegedly “begged” the president to keep the JFK files classified.
Bursting the bubble for the Marxist ideologues who’d spent a week fawning over the nomination of Vice President Kamala Harris, Kennedy became the figurehead of a new exodus from the Democratic Party Friday when he endorsed former President Donald Trump.
Monday, Carlson premiered his lengthy discussion with the statesman vying to “Make America Healthy Again” and likened the politician’s situation to that of the rest of the country with regard to the November election.
“When Bobby Kennedy endorsed Donald Trump last week, he burned his boats,” the commentator captioned the interview. “There’s no turning back for him, or for American politics.”

In touting his support for the GOP leader, the Democrat-turned-Independent spoke to a promise to address the “chronic health problems and childhood diseases,” and he elaborated to Carlson on his intended role beyond campaigning.
“I’m gonna work to get him elected, and, you know, I’m working with the campaign. We’re working on policy issues together,” he explained. “I’ve been asked to go on to the transition team and, you know, to help pick the people who will be running the government, and I’m looking forward to that.”
Making note of the stakes, the guest stated, “I’m gonna fight. I don’t know what would happen to me if we lose.”
Wondering about that point, Carlson sought clarity and Kennedy remarked, “I never really think about that. What I think is, okay, here’s what I gotta do today, and you know, get up every day and say, ‘Reporting for duty, sir,’ and then go do that.”
“You know, nothing’s a crisis, everything’s a task, right? So that’s what I’m gonna be. Kind of a happy warrior. I know what I have to do so I’m gonna do it,” he went on.
What shape that would take had the environmental attorney signaling his own interest in being director of the CIA if Trump asked him, but recognizing it was beyond a long shot chance for him to attain such a position.
“Yes, I would, but I would never get Senate confirmation. As you know, the intelligence agencies are protected by very, very powerful committees in the Senate and the House that are all read into the project, and the people who serve on those committees are people who would, you know, they would not,” Kennedy said choosing his words, “they’re safeguarding that directorship and I would be very, very dangerous for those committees.”
To that point, he presented the contrast with former CIA Director Mike Pompeo whom he suggested had adamantly opposed the release of the files about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
While Trump renewed a promise to see the remaining documents made public in addition to forming a commission regarding assassination attempts that included the one made on his life, Carlson contended, “Everyone knows the truth, which is the CIA is implicated in that.”
“Whether they do or not,” Kennedy said of the documents, actions preventing their release supported the notion withholding their release “clearly is to protect the institution.”
“I was astonished that Trump didn’t declassify them because he promised to during the campaign,” the guest continued as Carlson added, “That was Mike Pompeo who did that.”
“Yeah, and I talked to President Trump for the first time about that this week…He said that Mike Pompeo begged him to — I don’t think I’m telling tails out of school here, I think he told the same thing to you — but, he said Mike Pompeo called him and said this would be a catastrophe to release these. You need to not do it,” said Kennedy.
Carlson added, “I wanna say again, I think Mike Pompeo is a criminal. So that’s my view. He’s threatened to sue me for saying that, but I hope he will because it’s true.”

Looking beyond the bureaucracies in Washington, D.C., the former White House hopeful spoke to the response from the Democratic Party about the threat he posed to the establishment as he remarked on his legal battles for ballot access.
“They’re suing me now in a dozen states,” Kennedy said of the Democrat-backed legal challenges. “I’ve been in trials for the past three weeks and I’ve spent most of my time not campaigning, but sitting in court in cases that are trying to get me off the ballot.”
“Today’s Democratic Party feels so unconfident about the candidates that it’s putting forward, and it feels the only way that it can win the election is by getting rid of the opponents and either, you know, using the courts against President Trump to lock him in jail and to embarrass and humiliate and discredit him, or using the courts against me to — just to through me off the ballot…” he went on before specifying, “It’s costing me $10 million to defend myself.”

This is the same party that prides itself on being the “pro-democracy” party.
