Tim Walz’s daughter sounds off, says country ‘does not deserve Kamala’

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s daughter delivered her unsolicited “initial post-election thoughts” in a TikTok post.

“I’ve officially reached the point of anger, and I’m not an angry person, so I’m just trying to channel it,” Hope Walz said in a message after her father and Vice President Kamala Harris scored a resounding defeat in their White House bid.

The Minnesota governor’s 23-year-old daughter declared that the country does not “deserve” Harris as she attacked President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance while eating “SpongeBob mac and cheese” and watching “Outer Banks.”

“This country does not deserve Kamala Harris. That woman should go live her best life wherever she wants, doing whatever she wants, because we don’t deserve her at this point,” she said.

“The only people who delivered this election were black women and we failed them,” Walz added, speaking of the “heartbreaking” election loss and urging Harris supporters and Democrats to “do whatever we can to support them and our people through these next four years.”

“These people have to live in their own skin, as in JD Vance and Donald Trump have to be JD Vance and Donald Trump and that is not a punishment I’d wish upon anybody but those two individuals,” she vented.

“I’m just really grateful I am who I am and I’m on the side of love and hope and joy and progress,” she said, adding dramatically that she would give herself “the week to be sad and to mourn what could’ve been, what should’ve been.”

“But that’s not where we are and that’s not reality. I’m giving myself the week to accept that and to be in it,” she said. “Then the work starts. We got this, America. Going to be OK.”

After the loss on Election Day, when millions of Americans made it clear they were not buying any of what the Democrats had been selling, the younger Walz posted an update on how her father was doing.

“Our dad is doing amazing,” she said, in a video shared on X. “He is ready to continue the fight here in Minnesota because it is going to be a safe place for every person. We’ll be OK. We’re going to be OK, everyone.”

Trump’s stunning election victory as he swept through the Democratic “blue wall” and won swing states Harris depended on was even more of a personal blow to the Minnesota governor.

“President-elect Trump’s overwhelmingly win saw him net 49.6% of the vote in Minnesota’s Blue Earth County, where Walz’s family lived for 20 years before he was elected governor,” the New York Post noted.

Before running for governor, Walz represented Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District in Congress for 12 years. He previously coached football and taught social studies at Mankato West High School.

Hope Walz’s post-election rant found sympathetic ears with leftists but many social media users blasted the self-important message.
