The president’s high praise for the U.S. Space Force included a jest about a specific, personal detail about Iranians the branch can detect: “It’s the most amazing thing.”

With the midterm election primary season well underway, soaring gas prices have kept the conflict in the Middle East as a pressing concern for Americans. As President Donald Trump has held firm to the need to stave off Iran’s nuclear program, an update on Space Force monitoring the site of the Islamist regime’s enriched uranium found him joking how “most of ’em are Muhammad.”

The quip came up during a sit-down with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, aired during “Special Report” shortly after the commander-in-chief reaffirmed that the United States would be taking full possession of the “nuclear dust” that remained after military operations had “obliterated” the sites.

“Space Force, which I created, has got cameras, nine different cameras in space on that site,” the president informed Baier. “We know everybody that moves there. We can read the name of a person … If his name is Muhammad something — and most of ’em are Muhammad, you can guess about 50% right — we can read his name right on his tag from space. It’s the most amazing thing. Anybody that goes near that space, we have it tagged.”

The commentary was particularly of note in the wake of Trump’s state visit to China, where he met at length with President Xi Jinping. Following his point about surveillance, the president asserted, “[The Iranians] haven’t done anything there. And if they did, we would hit them very hard. So, two days ago, in speaking to the Iranians, they told me it was hit so hard, they actually said, I must say, that there’s only two countries that could get it: us and China.”

“They said us and China, that they don’t have the capability of getting it because it was so obliterated. The term I used was obliterated. The fake news said, oh, maybe somebody can get it. They actually said, if they wanted to get it, they couldn’t. So, that’s not good enough for me. I wanna get it,” added Trump.

The commander-in-chief previously addressed the enriched uranium with investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson on “Full Measure” and said, “Well, we’ll get that at some point. We have it surveilled. I did a thing called Space Force, and they are watching that.”

Similarly remarking that badge numbers could be read, the president added, “If anybody got near the place, we will know about it — and we’ll blow ’em up.”

Following leftist attempts to spin his remarks about priorities regarding the Middle East, when he said before departing for China, “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situations. I don’t think about anybody. I think about one thing: we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon,” Trump held fast to his position and told Baier, “That’s right. That’s a perfect statement. I’d make it again.”
