Trump unloads on DA Bragg over resurrected Stormy ‘Horseface’ Daniels hush-money ‘witch hunt’

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg reportedly began presenting evidence to a grand jury Monday in support of the allegation that Donald Trump made hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels, prompting the former president to take to his social media platform Truth Social to deny once again that he had an affair with the porn star.

The 2024 Republican presidential candidate, who is certainly the most persecuted man in modern American history, also blasted the effort to target him by resurrecting the alleged affair, calling it “a continuation of the Greatest Witch Hunt of all time.”

Trump wrote, “With murders and violent crime surging like never before in New York City, the Radical Left Manhattan D.A., Alvin Bragg, just leaked to the Fake News Media that they are still going after the Stormy ‘Horseface’ Daniels Bull….!Working closely with the Weaponized Justice Department, this is a continuation of the Greatest Witch Hunt of all time. They long ago missed the Statute of Limitations, & I recently won big money against ‘Stormy’ in the 9th Circuit – NEVER HAD AN AFFAIR. This is old news!”

The grand jury exercise could potentially result in criminal charges being filed against Trump, with Bragg trying to build a case around the hush money paid to Daniels after balking at indicting the former president in connection with his business practices. Bragg is reportedly looking to pressure former Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg, who is alleged to have had knowledge of the payment, to flip on his old boss and cooperate with the effort to build the hush-money case.

National Enquirer’s former publisher David Pecker was seen Monday heading in to testify before the grand jury, according to the New York Post — he was involved in the $130,000 payout to Daniels to stop her from going public about the alleged affair in the run-up to the 2016 election.

“Prosecutors want to interview other witnesses, like Dylan Howard, the Enquirer’s former editor, and Jeffrey McConney and Deborah Tarasoff, two workers at Trump’s company, sources told the New York Times. The three have not yet testified before the grand jury,” the newspaper reported.

Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer Michael Cohen, who was convicted in 2018 for paying the hush money to Daniels and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal, met with prosecutors earlier this month, according to the article.

So yet again, for the umpteenth time, Democrats embark on a “witch hunt” to take out their chief nemesis — at taxpayer expense, of course.

“I really don’t believe that they’re going back and conducting these investigations, and if there’s any truth to it, it would show poor judgment,” Michael van der Veen, a lawyer for Mr. Trump’s company, said in November, adding, “The millions of taxpayer dollars they’ve spent on countless investigations, it’s a big waste of time and money.”
