‘Why are our ratings at a 30-year low?’ Bizarre CNN New Year’s Eve drag queen segment

While there is some hope that woke is on the run in America following the 2024 presidential election, don’t count the left out when it comes to projecting their degenerate moral values on the nation — after all, they still control most of the airwaves in America.

Look no further than the New Year’s Eve coverage on CNN, a network that has seen its rating plummet after President-elect Donald J. Trump trounced Democratic replacement nominee Kamala Harris.

In addition to featuring a comedian who openly joked about the network drawing just 3,000 viewers, CNN showcased a neon yellow drag queen named Nymphia Wind, who openly invited host Will Ripley to touch his “pointy boobs.”

After stroking a bunch of bananas on air, Ripley touted the Taiwanese drag queen’s lofty goals for 2025 — the performer also calls himself the “Banana Buddha.”

“I really would love to be a cultural Taiwanese ambassador for Taiwan and the world. I want to show you what Taiwan has to offer,” said the drag queen, whose real name is Leo Tsao.

Ripley was so proud of the bizarre segment praising Tsao for being the “hardest working drag queen in the world” that he shared it on his X account.

He also touted Tsao, who visited then-Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen earlier this year, as “the FIRST EVER East Asian Winner of @RuPaulsDragRace (Season 16).”

“How are you still standing right now? You need a vacation, girl,” Ripley said at one point,

“I think I’m a workaholic. I’m just so used to being tired all the time,” Nymphia Wind replied.

And while CNN might be proud of the segment, social media users had a very different opinion — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
