‘Win for alpha males’: Hooters recruits Musk to assure America that ‘millennials do in fact love boobs’

Twitter CEO Elon Musk received an interesting request from the official Hooters account after a nasty rumor quickly went viral.

The “Daily Loud” Twitter account posted a tweet claiming that the famous eatery was going to be undergoing a shutdown and “rebranding” because Millennials “aren’t that into boobs.” If 2022 hadn’t been such a chaotic year for the media, one could claim with certainty that is fake. However, not even Musk himself knew if the news was accurate, responding with “Can’t tell if satire or real.”

Luckily, the person running the Hooters account was quick to drench the flames of misinformation with the soothing waters of reality.

“Elon if you could let the world know that millennials do in fact love boobs that would be really cool,” they replied, prompting relief for men around the United States including Musk himself.

There’s nothing quite like bonding over shared interests:

But in the event that people outside of Twitter heard the fake news, Stephen Brown, a spokesperson for the eatery, released a statement to the Associated Press assuring Americans that the rumors of their rebranding were greatly exaggerated.

“There is no validity to this story,” he explained. “Guests are enjoying this week’s televised sports events at our restaurants across the country and around the world in record numbers, accompanied by craveable menu items, cold beer and iconic hospitality. Our concept is here to stay.”

Responses were about what you’d expect:
