Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is lashing out at United States President Donald Trump over comments made following Russian negotiations.
Zelenskyy accused Trump of pushing “a lot of disinformation coming from Russia” with his statement from Mar-a-Lago, in which he effectively placed blame on the nation for not making more attempts to end the war.
“Unfortunately, President Trump, with all due respect for him as the leader of a nation that we respect greatly… is living in this disinformation bubble,” he added.
Russia’s war on Ukraine has cost the taxpayers untold billions in hard-earned money, giving the United States a vested interest in ending the conflict and promoting peace. On Tuesday while covering the meeting between U.S and Russian officials, CNN’s Jake Tapper expressed shock by Trump’s statements on the matter.

“I think I have the power to end this war, and I think it’s going very well. But today I heard, well, we weren’t invited. Well, you’ve been there for three years. You should have ended it three years ago. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal,” the president said.
“Ukraine should never have started the invasion of Ukraine. That’s an interesting comment. President Trump also casting doubt on where all the U.S. military aid to Ukraine has gone,” Tapper snarked.
“We have to equalize with Europe because Europe is giving us a given, a very much smaller percentage in that I think Europe has given 100 billion and we’ve given, let’s say, 300 plus. And it’s more important for them than it is for us. We have an ocean in between and they don’t. But where is all the money that’s been given? Where is it going? And nobody I’ve never seen an accounting of it,” Trump said.
