Bannon calls for Lindsey Graham’s arrest if he keeps ‘stirring it up’ in Ukraine

Former Trump White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is frustrated with Senator Lindsey Graham’s Ukraine meddling.

Bannon believes that President Donald Trump’s White House should force Graham to pull back on his diplomacy in the region after he celebrated a drone strike on Russia’s strategic bombing fleet. On his ‘War Room’ podcast, Bannon even went as far as to call for Graham’s arrest should he not comply.

“The White House has to condemn this immediately and pull all support, and tell Lindsey Graham to come home, or we are going to put you under arrest when you come home. You’re stirring it up,” he said, accusing the senator of conducting diplomacy behind the president’s back.

“Lindsey Graham’s over there saying, ‘Hey, forget Trump. I got the House and the Senate. We’re going to pass it. You’re going to see something in a couple of days,’” the podcaster continued. “He’s stirring it up over there.”

It all started with Graham’s Monday praise of the “ever-resourceful Ukraine.”

“The ever-resourceful Ukraine used creative drone warfare tactics to successfully attack Russian bombers and military assets used to kill Ukrainian citizens and destroy their country. Russia indiscriminately kills men, women and children,” he posted on X. “It’s time for the world to act decisively against Russia’s aggression by holding China and others accountable for buying cheap Russian oil that props up Putin’s war machine. If you want this war to end, push China to help end it.”

“Ukraine struck deeply into Russia, hitting targets in the regions of Irkutsk and Amur, thousands of miles from the Russian-Ukraine border. The country’s security services reportedly smuggled the drones into Russia on 18-wheelers, which were remotely opened near military bases,” The Hill reported.
