Bannon has a message for the FBI: ‘Just doing our jobs’ excuse won’t ‘save you. That’s what the Waffen SS said’

If the FBI thought for a moment that former Trump adviser Steve Bannon would bow to intimidation, they were sorely mistaken — especially in light of the shocking seizure of Mike Lindell’s cell phone by the feds at a Hardee’s restaurant.

On Wednesday’s “War Room” podcast, Bannon welcomed the MyPillow manufacturer to his show and delivered a pointed message to the FBI.

“Mike, we’re just doing our jobs,” is what the FBI said, according to Lindell, who noted that “the corruption goes back to our government.”

Bannon then put the FBI on blast.

“I want all the FBI people out there,” he began. “We got whistleblowers all over the place.”

Excuses, he cautioned, won’t play for long.

“That phrase is not going to save you,” Bannon warned. “That’s what the Waffen SS said. That’s what the Gestapo said to save themselves after 1945, when we won.”

“We don’t want to hear you just doing your job, okay?” he stated. “You know what you’re doing. And it’s time now for you to come forward and be a whistleblower.”

As American Wire reported, Lindell was at a Minnesota Hardee’s diner, on his way home from a hunting trip with a friend, when the FBI surrounded him.

“The FBI came after me and took my phone, they surrounded me at a Hardees and took my phone I run all my businesses, everything with,” Lindell said in a video that quickly made its way to social media. “What they have done is weaponize the FBI. It’s disgusting.”

“And they told me not to tell anybody,” he added with a chuckle.

“Cars pulled up in front of us, to the side of us, and behind us and I said those are either bad guys or the FBI,” he said in a  later video. “Well, it turns out they were the FBI.”

Lindell is just the latest to be hit by a Justice Department that, increasingly, feels like the enforcement arm of the Democratic Party.

Just days ago, roughly 50 supporters of former President Donald Trump received either subpoenas or search warrants courtesy of the FBI.

Dhillon Law Group’s Harmeet Dhillon joined Fox News host Tucker Carlson and, as American Wire reported, confirmed the disturbing news.

“The truth is that a few days ago, a political reporter called several people and said, ‘Hey, have you heard or been served yet? The FBI will be serving 50 approximately search warrants or subpoenas on Trump supporters,’ and then, you know, within 24 hours of that, two of our clients, three of our clients actually did either get search warrants or subpoenas, and the subpoenas are extremely broad,” she stated.

According to Dhillon, the Department of Justice is trying to “instill fear” in the Biden administration’s political opposition.

“Most of this activity, if not all of it, is protected by the First Amendment and the United States Department of Justice is telling reporters about the search warrants and subpoenas before they’re executed,” she said. “There’s no other explanation for this, and I think the reason for this is to instill fear into Donald Trump supporters and into those who would challenge election irregularities right before an upcoming election, Tucker.

“This is really outrageous abuse by the DOJ and it is illegal for the DOJ to leak this information to the media,” she added.

On “War Room,” Bannon urged FBI whistleblowers to come forward.

“There are dozens and dozens and dozens of whistleblowers coming from DOJ and FBI,” he told any listening FBI members. “You better be part of it.”

“The excuse, ‘I’m just doing my job,’ will not hack it anymore. Okay? I don’t want to hear that,” Bannon stated. “That’s more whining. That’s whining.”
