The former leader of Rhode Island’s Black Lives Matter sect has formally endorsed former President Donald Trump for reelection.
Appearing on radio host Kim Iverson’s program on the 6th of this month, Mark Fisher explained exactly why he now supports Trump.
Listen:
“Because everybody else sucks. … You know, I like Trump personally, and I think right now who we have sitting in the Oval Office is just a deep disappointment. I deeply have disdain for him, and I really dislike the vice president as well,” he said.
“I feel like a lot of black people are starting to pivot off of the Democrat plantation. We’ve been mental slaves afraid to get off of that plantation because we’ve been used and abused for so long. That party, they don’t value our vote. Their policies are basically racist policies, and I believe it’s a racist party that strikes at the heart of the black family and the nuclear family in general,” he continued.
“And I believe Donald Trump, he’s the opposite. He’s gonna tell you how it is. He’s gonna give it to you straight. He’s not gonna be a hypocrite and stab you in the back like the Democrat Party loves to do,” Fisher concluded.
He reiterated his position during an appearance this Tuesday on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” explaining to Lawrence Jones why exactly so many black Americans are fleeing President Joe Biden for Trump’s embrace instead.
Listen:
“I think personally it’s the duplicity of the Democrats, the hypocrisy. We are not stupid. The brothers are not stupid. We understand when someone is for us and when someone is not. It’s obvious that the Democratic Party is not for us. Their policies actually strike at the heart of the black family and nuclear family,” he said.
“A lot of people are misinformed. They don’t understand because they don’t educate themselves on Donald Trump as a person and his history. But, if they do that and it’s going to take, you know, leaders, educating leaders to get the word out there. I think it will happen on its own. It will be organic because personally, I love the man. How could you as like a real man, how could you not relate to someone like that?” he added.
His remarks prompted celebrations from conservatives excited by the addition of an ostensible new member to the party.
Could this be the start of the great awakening of Black Americans? This brother sure seems to get it now! Get off the plantation is right! Good for you!

Welcome American friend, On the way to Heaven there is no skin colors, only a split in the road. Bad people go one way that heads down, good people go the other way that heads up. GOD Bless

I agree the Democratic party has just about destroyed the black family, kept their kids last in school achievements, poor neighborhoods and on top of that by aborting them they can never get over 13 percent of the population. Finally, some are noticing it.

I hope you’re sincere. If you are, you could be a tremendous voice of change for brown and black Americans that need to hear real truth and finally crush the 60 year stranglehold the Democratic Party has had on them and which has driven endless dependency, poverty, hopelessness…

However, Fisher’s turnabout also attracted some cynicism from prominent conservative commentator Ann Coulter.
“Conservatives go wild over a few intelligent black people turning against the Dems — and then Dems get 90% of the black vote,” she tweeted late Tuesday, drawing attention to an indisputable pattern that emerges every election cycle.

Weird that you didn’t see it coming since it happens every four years like clockwork. Conservatives go wild over a few intelligent black people turning against the Dems — and then Dems get 90% of the black vote. https://t.co/dKgsTiA8dH

Her point was that the small sprinkle of black Americans who’ve switched teams has never been enough to make a real dent in the black community’s voting patterns.
That said, Fisher isn’t the only black American to speak out during this election cycle. Just a couple of days earlier, former New York state Democrat lawmaker Madeline Brame also tore into the Democrat Party and admitted that many among her people are fed up with them.
“People are walking away from the plantation of the Democratic Party once and for all,” she told Fox News’ Jones. “The economy plays a huge part, now the illegal immigration piece is playing another major part.”
“Here in New York City, now we have cuts coming down you know, the pike, that are going to affect the brown and black community just like the illegals that are being pushed into these communities, sucking up the resources from the longtime residents that live there,” she added.
