A Chicago-based food blogger is speaking out against the hate he’s received over his noble mission to unify people through global cuisine.
Chris Campbell, who’s ironically known online as Chris CARESNONE and the “Babka King”, apparently does “care” and reported unhinged “anti-Semitic” threats and accusations launched at him after a post featuring Jewish food.
“The antisemitism that I have noticed, and I have personally felt — I have gotten death threats… it is real and you can see it,” Campbell said in the video posted to his Instagram page, Fox News Digital reported. Campbell called the threats the “most heinous things I’ve ever heard.”
Campbell, who has reportedly featured food from all over the world, said he’d never received as much “hate” as he did when he featured Jewish food.

“The facts are I have received death threats when I’ve tried babka, which is wild,” Campbell told Fox News Digital.
Campbell posted another video of himself tasting a Palestinian dish, which “got some interesting comments” but “pales in comparison to what” he received in response to the “Jewish culture,” he told Fox.
Campbell admitted that the threats at first made him rethink featuring Jewish cuisine, but ultimately decided to “double down” on Jewish food while using his platform to spread more love, Fox reported.
Bravo!
“[There are] people literally in my DMs saying how much they’re, like, scared,” Campbell said. “And what kind of person would I be if I have a platform and I see what I see and I don’t say nothing?”
