While the government remains shut down and liberal lawmakers pout at home, former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick shared pictures from a day at the gym and a night out in Washington, D.C.
It appears Patrick took on the Pete & Bobby Challenge and had a night on the town, enjoying dinner with Lara Trump, Tulsi Gabbard, Meghan McCain, Jessica Kraus and Dakota Meyer, according to photos shared on social media.
“Just a casual Tuesday night dinner,” the 43-year-old former racing star captioned a group of photos on Instagram.

Patrick reposted pictures in a story on her Instagram, sharing the group shot during the workout session at Fort McNair, a U.S. Army post in Washington, D.C.

Patrick told her one million followers in an Instagram story that she tried out an “adult dance class.”
The now-viral clip showed her in a bodysuit and heels in what she said was a “choreographed” number, and that she was taking “zero credit” for the moves.
