Rarely has a boycott ever backfired as spectacularly as the left’s boycott of Chick-fil-A over the late founder’s support of traditional marriage, and all these years later liberals are still quick to call for people to avoid the chicken sandwich chain.
Never mind that the American Customer Satisfaction Index rated Chick-fil-A, the third largest chain in the U.S., America’s top fast-food restaurant for a seventh straight year last year — much of the growth and success coming after the LGBTQ community targeted the chain.
Not only is Chick-fil-A apparently boycott proof, the chain has proven to be pandemic proof, as The Food Institute reported:
Privately-owned Chick-fil-A, ranked by Franchise Times Magazine as the ninth-largest franchise company in the U.S., reported record free-standing franchised restaurant sales last year as it added drive-thru lanes, dispatched outdoor order-takers with tablets, and expanded both curbside pickup and third-party delivery amid the pandemic. Sticking to its dedication to customer service and specialized menu, revenue was $4.3 billion in 2020 compared to $3.8 billion in 2019, an increase of 13%. The Atlanta-based company reported comprehensive earnings of $715.9 million in 2020 versus $647.2 million in 2019, an increase of 10.6%. (Restaurant Finance Monitor, April 11)
In general, the quick service restaurant segment fared quite well during the pandemic. For the 12 months ending in March, fast-food chains dominated the restaurant market – taking in 70.2% of dollars spent eating out and 82.9% of all restaurant traffic, according to data from The NPD Group.
Yet, over the weekend there was talk online of boycotting the restaurant, though it’s not exactly clear why. A hunch is that it may be all the fuss being kicked up over Florida’s Parental Rights bill that bans classroom instruction of sexual orientation and gender dysphoria in K-3 grades, which the left, to include the media, have dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. This being a false, misleading characterization of the legislation that the Big Tech fact checkers apparently approve of.
Here’s a small sampling of the manufactured outrage linked to Chick-fil-A from Twitter:
Any guesses as to where Chick-fil-A stands on Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill? They’re not an LGBTQ ally on anything.

On the other hand, astute social media users understand what this all means — longer lines at their neighborhood Chick-fil-A!
*sigh*
The same people who have not been eating Chick Fil A are claiming they’re going to boycott Chick Fil A … again? More? Is this a double SECRET boycott?
This also means lines will be extra long this week so make sure you plan accordingly if you’re eating there. 🙂

Chick-fil-A makes pretty good sandwiches and even if they were literally anti-Lord Victor– like if they had a corporate crusade against me personally– I’d probably still eat there.
So, fuck your politics. The chicken.

Love how the lefties all think a boycott of chick-fil-A will actually hurt their business- lol.. that place has lines around the building at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon! No boycott will ever hurt that place- only make it more popular~

Oh, no
Is this going to be like the last time y’all boycotted Chick-fil-A?
