Donald Trump, Jr. took to Twitter on Thursday to say that he has been warned to “expect retaliation” from Fox News for his outspoken criticism of the network over the departure of Tucker Carlson.
Pulling no punches, Trump claimed the “RINO leadership” at Fox News “is at war with conservatives!”
“Have heard from a few of my friends at Fox News that the leftist executives running things there are pissed at me for calling them out over firing Tucker and to ‘expect retaliation.’ A lot of good people still work at Fox, but their RINO leadership is at war with conservatives!” he tweeted.

Trump Jr. said the day Carlson’s exit was announced that he is a “once-in-a-generation type talent” and that his ouster was a “mind-boggling” move that “changes things permanently.”
On Monday, during an appearance on The Steak For Breakfast Podcast, he accused Fox News of “censorship,” while pointing out that he hasn’t been invited to appear on the network in “nine months.”
“I’ve been watching the censorship happening even in conservative mainstream media. I mean, you saw what sort of Fox did to Tucker Carlson, last week and the week before that, it was Dan Bongino and, you know, the people who would actually question some of that narrative,” he said.
“I’ve been at sort of outspoken America First and I used to be on Fox 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 times a week. I haven’t been on in nine months. Not a call, not an invite, not anything. And so I understand what it, what it appears like they’re trying to do to the America First movement. You know, Tucker was another one of those voices,” he added.
On Tuesday, he slammed Fox News over the leaking of potentially controversial outtakes of Carlson, calling it an “attack” on conservatives.
Fox News leaking to the left-wing New York Times to smear Tucker Carlson isn’t just an attack on Tucker, it’s an attack on all of his fans and conservatives everywhere!

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly has named Fox News Senior Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications Irena Briganti as the culprit in the leaks, saying she is trying to destroy Carlson — Fox News denies her allegations.
“This is my supposition for the record because it has yet to be confirmed but I know it is them,” Kelly said recently on her podcast. “And I know it’s Irena Briganti who runs comms and f*cking hates Tucker. Sorry. She hates his guts. And it’s mutual. He doesn’t like her either. None of us do. Nobody likes Irena.”
Here’s a quick sampling of a few responses to the story, as seen on Twitter:

I told a friend that FoxNews is a net good and don’t want them to fail. Lots of good hosts like Waters, Gutfield, and many great reporters like Trey, Doocey, etc. We should want the network to succeed.
But executives seem to be on a mission to destroy FoxNews from within.
