Gaetz brings receipts, pillow talk photos to show Cassidy Hutchinson lied about dating him

Former Trump staffer Cassidy Hutchinson evidently has her pants on fire once again after a pillow talk photo surfaced showing her and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) FaceTiming.

The photo was confirmed by a source close to Gaetz, according to The Daily Caller. Hutchinson is alleged to have sent it around bragging to her friends that the two dated.

This follows her appearing on MSNBC with host Rachel Maddow, where she viciously asserted, “And I do not think that Matt Gaetz has the best track record for relationships” and added, “I will say on behalf of myself I never dated Matt Gaetz. I have much higher standards in men.”

Hutchinson testified in front of the Jan. 6 committee against former President Trump and is seen by many as less than honest and trustworthy. The incident where she accused Gaetz of behaving inappropriately toward her makes her look even worse after the screenshot surfaced, especially since she is hawking her new book on leftist networks.

After Hutchinson made her wild allegations to Maddow, including that he had groped her twice, Gaetz clapped back over it… hard.

I don’t remember either of these events and based on Cassidy’s prior false statements, I doubt they occurred. I did date Cassidy for a few weeks when we were both single years ago. We parted amicably and remained friends thereafter even during President Trump’s post-presidency,” Gaetz asserted in a statement to MSNBC.

Hutchinson did not return the kind words, “I will give Matt credit in part of his statement that we did have an amicable working relationship and we were good friends at points. Matt Gaetz, in my opinion, is somebody that I personally do not hold in high regard in terms of trust and I do not think that Matt Gaetz has the best track record for relationships and condoning his relationships, how he thinks that they might be defined.”

“I will say on behalf of myself I never dated Matt Gaetz. I have much higher standards in men. And Matt, frankly, is a very unserious politician. We see that today with the ruckus that he is causing on Capitol Hill with the spending negotiations. And I’m not– I don’t really have much else to say to somebody that is more concerned about a soundbite than actually passing legislation,” Hutchinson cuttingly remarked.

When the accusations first came out while Hutchinson was promoting her book on MSNBC, a number of people warned her to be very sure of what she was alleging because pictures have a way of coming to light when you say things like this. Sure enough, that appears to be what happened here.
