George Conway vows to “put Trump away for good” in new congressional bid

Kellyanne Conway’s ex-husband is promising to put the president “away for good” in a new campaign ad.

George Conway is currently one of many Democrats battling it out in a primary for a seat to represent New York’s 12th Congressional District. He is running on punishing President Donald Trump, which he emphasized in a 60-second spot that came off more like a political taunt than an actual campaign advertisement.

Watch:

“Hi, Donald. It’s me, George Conway. I cost you 88 f**king million dollars, and I’ve only just gotten started,” he said. “I know you like putting your name on everything from your plane to the Kennedy Center. Sorry about that.”

“But the only thing your name is going to be left on when I’m done with you is the orange jumpsuit you’re going to have to wear in prison,” he added.

“And you see that building back there?” Conway gestured at the Capitol building behind him. “That’s where we’re going to hold your third and final impeachment trial, the one that’s going to put you away for good, and I’m going to enjoy every minute of that.”

Not mentioned in the ad were any details on what specific behavior the president has engaged in that would prompt impeachment proceedings, or how he would improve the lives of the voters who put him into office.
