A grumpy President Biden took exception to reporters calling out questions while being escorted out of a White House abortion task force meeting, prompting plenty of criticism given the circumstances.
Much like he did during his 2020 presidential campaign, where Biden was widely panned for hiding out in his basement to avoid the press, the president has given few press conferences or sit-down interviews with actual journalists, opting instead to be interviewed by late-night comedians and hand-picked “journalists” who can be counted on to go easy on him — see “60 Minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley.
As questions rained down upon him, Biden let loose a creepy smirk and said, “You’re among the only press in the world that does this. Seriously, seriously.”
Joe Biden watches idly as the press is manhandled out of the room.

The great irony here being that, in the eyes of millions, the corporate media was largely responsible for Biden ascending to the White House. In their moral self-righteousness, liberal journalists considered it their duty to prevent President Donald Trump from being elected to a second term.
Joe Concha, a media columnist published by The Hill, compared Biden to his predecessor last month.
“Regardless of what you thought about former President Trump and his verbal treatment of the press, he was extremely accessible, sometimes to his own determent,” Concha wrote. “For comparison, Biden had held 17 press conferences and done 22 media interviews in his first 20 months in office, while Trump held 36 press conferences in his first 20 months.”
He then pointed out that Biden “hasn’t sat down for a TV interview in more than 210 days.”
“You read that correctly,” Concha said. “The last time the president of the United States did a real TV interview was with NBC’s Lester Holt on Super Bowl Sunday in February.”
John Cooper, a communications official for the conservative Heritage Foundation, pointed out the obvious.
“This guy routinely hides from the press, rarely takes questions, almost never does pressers, and has the gall to criticize them for trying to ask questions on one of the few opportunities they get,” he tweeted.

Do other world leaders hold press conferences & sit down for interviews more frequently than, like, every six months, or whatever? https://t.co/z6QgEWQUmP
