Hunter Biden claimed that his struggles with addiction have been used as the basis for a “vile and sustained disinformation campaign” against his father and to destroy his reputation, playing the victim in a shameless op-ed.
In a column for USA Today titled “I fought to get sober. Political weaponization of my addiction hurts more than me,” the scandal-soaked son of President Joe Biden dishes on his craving for drugs and booze in a shameless attempt to gaslight the public into believing that he’s a sympathetic figure.
“It is already a near-impossible decision for addicts to get sober, and the avalanche of negativity and assault of my personal privacy may only make it harder for those considering it,” writes Hunter Biden.https://t.co/0XSzHo0125

“Over four years ago, I chose life over the slow strangle-death grip of addiction, which in my case consisted each day of a bottle of vodka and as many hits on a crack pipe as possible. I am prouder of that choice and of my recovery than anything I’ve ever done,” he wrote, adding that more than 20 million Americans also suffer from substance abuse problems.
“My struggles and my mistakes have been fodder for a vile and sustained disinformation campaign against him, and an all-out annihilation of my reputation through high-pitched but fruitless congressional investigations and, more recently, criminal charges for possessing an unloaded gun for 11 days five years ago – charges that appear to be the first-ever of their kind brought in the history of Delaware,” he wrote, referring to his recent federal indictment by special counsel David Weiss.
The presidential son’s op-ed comes as House Republicans are continuing their efforts to unravel the tangled financial web of corruption involving the patriarch of what some are referring to as the “Biden crime family” and his role as what appears to be a bagman for “The Big Guy” and his uncle, James Biden.
Insisting that he’s not playing the victim, the younger Biden whined, “What troubles me is the demonization of addiction, of human frailty, using me as its avatar and the devastating consequences it has for the millions struggling with addiction, desperate for a way out and being bombarded by the denigrating and near-constant coverage of me and my addiction on Fox News (more airtime than GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis) and in The New York Post (an average of two stories a day over the past year).”
While many gullible readers will fall for the allegedly reformed crackhead and sexual degenerate’s sob story, others expressed skepticism and questioned his sincerity.

Hunter Biden posted an op-Ed today where he claims that his struggles with addiction are the reason that Republicans are investigating him for influence peddling around the world.

Hunter Biden writes an op-ed in USA Today portraying himself as a victim due as a result criticism on Fox News and New York Post. Uses his addiction as a crutch. The criticism has zero to do with his addiction and everything to do with influence peddling. What a joke.…

Shame on privileged Hunter Biden for exploiting addiction to dodge accountability for his crimes.

People who believe there’s even the slightest possibility they could be convicted of a crime don’t pen op-eds. The fix is in. This degenerate POS knows he’s in the clear. https://t.co/27OpBpHYA3

“The effort of recovery is something that should be celebrated, and I hope that despite my role as the punchline and punching bag for some, others will also make the effort I have made, one day at a time, and get honest with themselves and the people who love and rely upon them,” Biden said in his op-ed.
