Jesse Watters’ sex analogy in response to Pelosi’s inflation dodge sends cohosts for a loop

Fox News’s Jesse Watters raised a few eyebrows on Monday, including from his co-hosts on “The Five,” when he made a sex analogy while commenting on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent remarks on inflation in the run-up to the midterm elections.

The California Democrat appeared on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday and advised Democrats to avoid talking about the one issue impacting American families most: “We have to change that subject … The fight is not about inflation. It’s about the cost of living.”

“You’re asking her what’s the plan on inflation, and the Speaker of the House says this is not our plan, but this is how we spin it,” Watters said. “It’s not our fault because it’s happening everywhere, and that we’re going to change it to, now it’s the cost of living. So, permission to make an analogy.”

Co-host Greg Gutfeld chimed in to grant permission, though he would soon regret having done so when Watters began. “What are we going to do to make this sex life better? And she tells you, ‘First of all, all couples have terrible sex lives, number one. Number two, it’s not a horrible sex life. It’s a challenging sex life.’ Did your sex life improve?” Watters continued. “It did not.”

Cohost Jeanine Pirro interjected to ask, “Where did you come up with that?”

“Nancy is spinning her sex life,” Watters replied. “It’s not getting better. She’s just spinning it.”

Gutfeld interjected with a “wow,” while Pirro asked, “Why are you talking about Nancy in terms of sex?”

“Perfect analogy,” he replied with pride.
