Librarians plan for Pride month 2025 reveal indoctrination USING PUBLIC FUNDING to manipulate public

A new social media thread exposed the left’s agenda on how to get public libraries across the country to “Prepare for Pride Month.”

Blogger and former librarian Kelly Jensen authored the piece that reposted her “how-to guide to Pride displays in libraries,” noting how “Pride has traditionally been a month for joyful displays of queer books, with periodic and predictable complaints” for participating libraries.

“Intimidation is a common thread, as is the intentional removal of queer books from shelves and displays,” Jensen wrote. “We will see a deepening of quiet/silent censorship of Pride this year in libraries, without question. Given the unrepentant attacks on libraries and DEI by the current administration and its sympathizers and aggressors, Pride is going to look remarkably different this year than even last year or the previous year.”

Dan Kleinman, founder of Safe Libraries, unpacked the indoctrination efforts in an eye-opening thread on X where he asked, “Should taxes be used to shill for @PFLAG? Why not @Moms4Liberty?”

Back in 2023, Jensen detailed actions that library workers could take in response to Kirk Cameron’s “See You at the Library” events.

“She’s revealing indoctrination USING PUBLIC FUNDING to manipulate public, politicians, media to spread false information, all to promote indoctrination + s[]xualization of kids,” Kleinman wrote.

Jensen suggests libraries “consider perusing the archives of Literary Activism/Book Censorship News and see what stories of anti-LGBTQ censorship have come up.”

“What states or communities have threatened to shut down their entire public library over a couple of books featuring two mommies or two daddies? What queer books are being specifically targeted and why?” she wrote. ” Use this information to create thoughtful social media posts all month long.”
