Rep. Anna Paulina Luna called for an investigation into the white nationalist group Patriot Front after they marched peacefully through Washington, D.C., over the holiday weekend.
“What I find odd about Patriot Front is how under Biden they were never investigated,” the congresswoman tweeted on Monday. “Well funded. Never investigated. FBI under Biden looked into Catholics instead. So, looks like @GOPoversight should do some digging.”

Her call for an investigation triggered backlash, with critics accusing the congresswoman of ascribing negative aspersions to the group.
“Anna… these are actual grassroots White men that are disenfranchised and furious at the state of America right now and rightfully so,” one Patriot Front supporter wrote to the congresswoman. “It’s not an op… I know many of them personally. This is the organic right wing response to ANTIFA, DSA, and 100 million foreign invaders in our country.”

Are they even committing crimes? I’m unaware.

Why are they a problem? Marching without violence freak you out?

Patriot Front is the only organization that I can think of which gets mass condemnation for the crime of… walking around and doing disaster aid?

Why even investigate?
The march and are peaceful and non-destructive.
No cause for this.

Why don’t you actually do something about antifa instead you fucking retard.
You have a global left wing terror group responsible for multiple deaths around the west, yet you choose to pick on some peaceful White guys who aren’t harming anyone.

The group went viral over the weekend after they boarded a D.C. bus that evidently only contained one black woman who was a known criminal deviant.
The propaganda press rushed to portray the woman, a criminal, as some kind of brave, Rosa Parks-like figure, and the white nationalists as evil bogeymen.
Yet evidence shows that the woman, who’s now being mockingly called “Rosa Farts,” was the only possibly dangerous one aboard the D.C. bus.

During a Sunday CNN appearance, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum defended the group’s First Amendment rights while condemning their message.
“Certainly what they stand for is nothing that I could possibly agree with, but one of the foundational principles of the United States, which makes democracy messy, is free speech, and there are plenty of things that I see that I might personally find offensive, reprehensible, but in America, free speech is allowed, and this is by the whole spectrum of things,” he said.

Later during the same CNN show, Republican Rep. Buddy Carter outright rebuked the group.
“What I’ll say is that that is not the soul of America,” he maintained, according to The Hill. “Look, you know, we are all created equally. That is what, what our whole impetus is based on here in this country.
“And I would just, I would just not ignore it, but I don’t pay that much credence to it, because that does not represent the soul of America. We in America believe in equality, and that is simply not reflective, certainly not of the Republican Party,” he added.
Some on the right have alleged that Patriot Front is secretly a federal law enforcement operation targeting/smearing the right. No evidence has emerged to substantiate this conspiracy theory.
In reality, the group was founded in 2017 by Thomas Rousseau after the SPLC-organized Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia came into being.
