There appeared to be no end in sight for the spin as Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) argued what was plain to most, following multiple angles and a new video of an ICE shooting, “didn’t happen.”

Shameless headlines and talking point peddling have more than demonstrated that leftists will go to any ends to advance a narrative if it could potentially harm the America First agenda of President Donald Trump. As coordinated messaging put federal officers at risk in defense of illegal aliens following the fatal shooting of Renee Good, a new angle of the incident wasn’t enough to shatter Frey’s commitment to downplaying the aggression against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
On Friday’s installment of ABC News’ “World News Tonight,” the Somali-pandering mayor was shown the latest footage from the incident that was originally published by Alpha News. The clip from the officer’s cell phone showed him circling Good’s vehicle and documenting her license plate while being antagonized by her homosexual partner before the SUV accelerated toward him, striking him and causing a hip injury as he fired his gun back in self-defense.
“He walked away with a hop in his step from the incident. There’s another person that’s dead. He held on his cell phone. I think that speaks for itself,” Frey told ABC News correspondent Whit Johnson who went on to ask, “Does that video, that angle change your perspective at all about what may have happened?”
“I think an investigation could change or affirm my perspective,” dodged the mayor who went on to contend, “But we’ve got all two eyes [sic], and I can see a person that is trying to leave. I can see an ICE agent that was not run over by a car. That didn’t happen.”
Within the video, Good’s homosexual partner, herself filming the interaction, was heard taunting, “You want to come at us? I say go get yourself some lunch, big boy. Go ahead.”
That same woman was heard telling Good, “Drive, baby. Drive,” as another officer had been telling Good to get out of the vehicle before she appeared to accelerate the SUV aimed at the filming officer, who appeared to discharge his firearm in self-defense.
Frey, whose commentary came in response to Vice President J.D. Vance slamming coverage of the incident, “repeating the lie that this is some innocent woman who was out for a drive in Minneapolis when a law enforcement officer shot at her,” had previously disregarded injuries sustained by the officer when he was struck by Good’s vehicle, contending they were so superficial, he “might as well have gotten from closing a refrigerator door with his hips. He was not injured.”
MAYOR JACOB FREY: “Donald Trump said that Renee ran the ICE agent over.”
“Don’t take my word for it. Don’t take their word for it. Watch the video from every single angle.”

Meanwhile, as unrest grow from mere protests to violence with mobs hunting downtown Minneapolis to locate where federal officials were lodging during immigration enforcement operations and videos circulated directly threatening their lives, Frey’s message was not to chastise radicals and endeavor to turn down the temperature.
Instead, he maintained what he contended to be his message all along, “Stay strong. Stay resilient. Don’t take the bait.”
