Media mum on House Judiciary bombshell accusing FBI of turning ‘blind eye’ to Hunter’s shady dealings

Buried within a more than 1,000-page report from Republican House Judiciary Committee members on the “politicization” of the Biden administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) are damning claims that the FBI “turned a blind eye” to Hunter Biden’s more than questionable foreign business deals and that the Bureau is giving the first son “preferential treatment.”

With the midterm election less than a week away, the allegations are on their own explosive, but just as noteworthy is the liberal media’s continued lack of coverage on the matter, even as the GOP members accuse the FBI of colluding “with social media platform Facebook to suppress the information” of Hunter Biden’s potentially illegal actions in the weeks leading up to the 2020 presidential election.

As American Wire reported, House Judiciary Committee Republicans, led by ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), are calling the report — titled “FBI Whistleblowers: What Their Disclosures Indicate About the Politicization of the FBI and Justice Department” — “the first comprehensive accounting of the FBI’s problems to date, which undermine the FBI’s fundamental law-enforcement mission.”

Citing testimony from a string of brave whistleblowers, the House Republicans declared that, the “Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the stewardship of Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, is broken.”

“Quite simply,” the report states, “the problem—the rot within the FBI—festers in and proceeds from Washington.”

Sandwiched between “key takeaways” from the report of the FBI “inflating and manipulating domestic violent extremism statistics for political purposes” and the “Justice Department and FBI using counterterrorism resources to target parents resisting a far-left educational curriculum” is the “FBI downplaying and reducing the spread of the serious allegations of wrongdoing leveled against Hunter Biden.”

“Mounting evidence from the last two years shows that Hunter Biden, son of President Biden, has received preferential treatment from federal law enforcement, who seem to have turned a blind eye to the potential national security threats presented by his business dealings with Chinese, Russian, and other foreign nationals,” the report reads. “Other evidence suggests that the FBI may have even colluded with social media platform Facebook to suppress information on these allegations from the public in the weeks before the 2020 presidential election.”

“The way the FBI has approached the allegations concerning Hunter Biden and the Biden family is especially striking when considered alongside public information about how the FBI leadership has aggressively used law-enforcement authorities against conservatives,” the House Republicans argue.

Given that millions of conservatives still have questions about the 2020 elections and that President Biden is doing his level best to demonize any and all “election deniers” ahead of the midterm elections, one would think this allegation by House Judiciary Committee members would be the number one story on every news network and front page on every newspaper and periodical, but if you only listen to the mainstream media, chances are you don’t even know the mammoth report has dropped.

While Fox News and other conservative outlets on Twitter have picked up the story, a chorus of politically-motivated crickets can be heard from the rest.

Newsweek did do a story on the report, but they spun the headline to suggest it’s nothing more than a cold dish of Republican revenge, should they regain control of Congress next week.

“How GOP’s FBI Report Lays the Groundwork for Investigating Joe Biden,” the headline screams.

Others on Twitter are attempting to dismiss or discredit the report.

But overall, the left-leaning media is doing what it does best: Ignoring things that don’t fit its narrative.

Gee… It’s almost as though they are downplaying overwhelming evidence of Hunter Biden’s potential crimes to affect the outcome of elections all over again.
