Melania demands answers on ‘silence’ surrounding assassination attempt: ‘There is definitely more to this story’

Former First Lady Melania Trump dropped a video bombshell on Tuesday demanding the truth come out about the attempted assassination of her husband.

She bluntly questioned the role of law enforcement in the incident and it is not without merit. Many believe the best-case scenario is that the attempt was allowed to happen, while others feel parts of law enforcement were complicit. Thus far, these allegations have not been confirmed, but the secretiveness around the investigation only adds to growing conspiracies.

Now, Melania Trump is demanding answers concerning the attempt on former President Trump’s life that was unceremoniously swept under the carpet by the media as if it never happened.

“The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible, distressing experience,” the former first lady stated in the powerful video that was posted on social media. “Now the silence around it feels heavy. I can’t help but wonder why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech. There is definitely more to this story. And we need to uncover the truth.”

In ten seconds she succinctly brought the issue to a head for all Americans.

At the end of the clip, she promotes her forthcoming memoir “Melania,” which is set to be released on October 1st and is available on Amazon for pre-order for $30.

Two dueling investigations are being conducted concerning the attempted hit. One is by House Republicans and the other is headed by Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) along with fellow former military sniper Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ). The Secret Service also claims to be looking into the matter but almost two months later few answers are forthcoming. Which is odd considering the shooter had almost no social media footprint but had several encrypted overseas accounts.

It is unknown if the attempted assassination plays any role in Melania’s memoir which was announced approximately two weeks after the shocking incident.

“There have been several questions about the assassination attempt and how shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to climb to the roof of a building within the sight line of Trump. There are also questions about what role the Secret Service played versus local law enforcement and if the two entities were in proper communication that day,” the Daily Mail reported.

“The gunman shot at Trump from about 150 yards away, on top of a roof that was near the outdoor rally but outside the venue, meaning he didn’t go through the normal screening process that rally attendees did. It’s unclear why the Secret Service didn’t secure that area and why it took officers so long to respond to the shooting. Trump was grazed by a bullet, causing his ear to bleed,” the media outlet noted.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle was forced to resign after the incident. No one has been fired over the shooting although a few have reportedly been put on leave during the investigation.

“The Secret Service’s solemn mission is to protect our nation’s leaders. On July 13th, we failed,” Cheatle lamely stated.

Given the massive failure of the Secret Service and law enforcement that almost cost Trump his life that day, uncovering the truth behind the incident is critical.
