NYC ‘migrants’ reportedly attack pedestrians, brutally beat two men who intervened, push one through glass door

Illegal immigrants pelted pedestrians with objects outside a New York City shelter and when two men intervened, they were severely beaten for their efforts.

The altercation took place in Harlem outside a shelter where the migrants reportedly threw objects at people on the sidewalk. Two men stepped in to stop it which resulted in both of them being hospitalized, with one allegedly being shoved through a glass door on Sunday morning. The violence began at 9:45 am.

New York Police Department officers responded to numerous calls concerning an assault at the shelter located in the area of Central Park North and Madison Avenue. The shelter is an old jail that has been converted to house illegal immigrants streaming into the city.

As the migrants hammered those on the sidewalk with items, a 35-year-old man came out of his apartment and confronted them. He was punched and kicked by the illegal immigrants and then was pushed through a glass door according to the New York Post.

The man was lucky and evidently suffered only an arm laceration after the door incident. He was treated by EMTs who applied a tourniquet to his arm and then transported him to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The second man, 41, who intervened in the attack was also mercilessly beaten by the migrants. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, where he was listed in stable condition as well.

In typical New York City fashion these days, only one person was arrested and they were kicked loose with a criminal citation for disorderly conduct, according to Fox News. That amounts to a slap on the wrist for putting two men in the hospital and attacking several others. Police claim an investigation is ongoing.

Two other suspects escaped on scooters, according to sources that spoke with the New York Post.

A security guard at the former correctional facility was reportedly a witness to the attack. He spoke with the New York Post concerning the altercation. He reportedly saw the attack and the fight.

One of the men who stepped in to confront the illegal immigrants was chased by a number of them for approximately a block until he was backed into a glass door of an apartment building, according to the guard.

“He went to, I guess, find safety,” the guard recounted. “Instead, they pushed him into the glass and pulled him out as he was trying to get away.”

A maintenance worker who was tasked with cleaning glass off of a rug at the building Sunday afternoon following the incident said he was frustrated by the violence emanating from the shelter.

“Everything was good until that asylum building came,” the worker told the New York Post. “Police come by but it’s not enough. Even when we have police security, we don’t have police security like we used to.”

A building manager commented that the shelter lacks security.

“They don’t control the tenants,” he remarked. “There is nobody to complain to. They put garbage in our property and we get a fine and we go over there. There is nobody directing. They all say ‘call the mayor.’”

This is yet one more incident in the Big Apple as tens of thousands of illegal immigrants deluge the city.

Mayor Eric Adams’s office claims that more than 90,000 of them have arrived in New York City, primarily as a result of illegally crossing the southern border into the US. Over 50,000 of them are reportedly being housed by the city.

Officials are warning that New York City is at a “tipping point” and the mayor asserts there is no more room for illegal immigrants.
