Old Glory flying upside down outside DC Senate building sends Twitter into a tailspin

A mystery has erupted on Capitol Hill over the fate of a flag that was spotted upside down earlier this week.

The mystery emerged Tuesday when a Twitter account with the alias DC_Draino posted a photo of the Capitol flag upside down.

Look:

As noted by DC_Draino, some believe the flag was purposefully positioned upside down in mockery of Sen. John Fetterman, who earlier that day had barely been able to speak during a Senate Banking Committee.

But Newsweek has claimed it’s all a big misunderstanding.

An official at the Capitol confirmed … that the flag was at one point upside down. The official blamed a broken clip and added that the issue was later rectified,” the outlet reported Wednesday.

Well there you have it, right? Not exactly.

Some critics, including DC_Draino, don’t believe it was just a mistake:

However, some do believe it was just a screw-up, though the number of believers is far and few between.

There’s also a third group of people that responded to DC_Draino’s report by skipping over the debate altogether and concluding that the upside-down flag is fitting.

Why is it fitting? Because America is currently in distress and in dire need of rescue — namely from the Democrat Party and its catastrophic agenda.

Look:

This comes amid the latest data from Gallup, released in April, showing that only 16 percent of Americans are satisfied “with the way things are going in the U.S.”

Can you blame them? Grocery prices keep rising, the Biden administration keeps forwarding taxpayer money to Ukraine, crime remains persistently high, and the legacy media meanwhile has no interest in holding this administration accountable for anything, aside for the debacle in Afghanistan.
