This might be one of the biggest backfires in history.
In a dramatic turn of events, Republicans now hold the edge to hold the House in the upcoming midterm elections after the Virginia Supreme Court struck down its proposed redistricted map.
Virginia sparked nationwide fury when Gov. Abigail Spanberger and her Democrat colleagues attempted to gerrymander its districts to push out Republicans.
Several Southern states responded by redistricting their own maps, but legally.
As Bethany O’Leary tried to explain to a furious leftist over the news. There’s a big difference in how the states acted.
“Tennessee and Florida simply passed normal legislation through the standard legislative process. No constitutional shortcuts. No procedural violations.
One was cheating the system.
The other followed the rules.
That’s not “rigging maps.” That’s called following the law.”
After the leftist responded by calling her a stupid, ‘c-word’, and argued that Virginia “let the voters decide”, O’Leary calmly followed up to explain more:
“Virginia Democrats tried to sneak a constitutional amendment onto the ballot by violating their own procedural rules. The Virginia Supreme Court, in a 4-3 decision, said “nah” and threw it out.
Tennessee and Florida passed regular legislation through the normal legislative process. No constitutional tricks. No rule-breaking.
One side got caught cheating the system.
The other followed the law.
Crying “they f*cked their citizens” because YOU didn’t like the outcome doesn’t make you right. It just makes you sound like an emotional toddler throwing a tantrum when the rules don’t go your way.
STAY mad,” she said.
And MAD they are. But there was also a lot of celebrating over the breaking news.
“Keep playing hardball!” Eric Daugherty urged Republicans.

Scott Pressler called it a “political earthquake.”
HOLY COW

Gov Spanberger was also raked over the coals.
Justice has been served. From the beginning, this was the most obvious violation of Virginia’s Constitution. Abigail Spanberger and Democrats in Richmond knowingly violated our constitution to disenfranchise millions of Virginians.

Democrats in Virginia wasted over 30 million dollars and virtually all of Abigail Spanberger’s political capital on a gerrymandering battle she didn’t even originally want to fight and which has now been totally nullified.

Hard to overstate how much Virginia’s insanity, led by Democrat Louise Lucas, pushed multiple red states to redistrict. The Callais decision from SCOTUS was obviously important, but by itself it wouldn’t have led to TN or AL redistricting. The insanely corrupt Democrat overreach…
