Rapper 50 cent doubles down after Nordstrom robbery: ‘told you LA was finished’

Rapper 50 Cent weighed in on the viral video footage of a mob ransacking and looting a Nordstrom department store in Los Angeles over the weekend, another stunning example of the wanton criminality that is now commonplace in the Democrat-controlled city.

“I told you LA was finished. they are gonna have to lock the doors, appointment only. SMH,” the artist said in an Instagram post along with a video of the incident that went down over the weekend at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park where a swarm of thugs wearing masks and dark clothing stole up to $100,000 in merchandise from the store.

“We ain’t finished. We just getting started,” commented 50 Cent’s fellow LA-based rapper YG who is from Compton, a suburb of Los Angeles.

During the brazen daytime robbery, the mob which has been estimated to have included up to 50 individuals, swarmed the location, smashing display cases and hauling off merchandise that still had anti-theft tags attached. Some also reportedly used bear spray to keep security personnel at bay before they fled the scene in several getaway vehicles that were waiting outside, with it all being captured on video.

The Nordstrom robbery is an ominous sign for the City of Angels, showing that the criminality that has been unleashed is becoming more organized as thieves are banding together, a predictable outcome considering the soft-on-crime policies of George Soros-backed Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón and other progressive leaders who have waged war on law enforcement.

Rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, previously predicted the demise of Los Angeles after a judge’s ruling that a controversial no-bail policy should be reinstated and that holding offenders in jail when they can’t afford to pay bail violates their constitutional rights.

“LA is finished,” the 48-year-old hip hopper posted to Instagram last month, sharing a video of a local news report that the no-bail policy was back.

In another daylight theft that took place over the weekend, thieves were caught on video loading up with stolen merchandise at a crowded Nike store on Whittier Blvd. in East Los Angeles.

In the footage that was posted to the Citizen app, the perps are seen loading boxes of shoes and other items into black trash bags in plain view of shoppers and store employees, a video that is likely to serve as an inspiration to others who no longer have a fear of the law.

“What happened today at the Nordstrom in the Topanga Mall is absolutely unacceptable. Those who committed these acts and acts like it in neighboring areas must be held accountable. The Los Angeles Police Department will continue to work to not only find those responsible for this incident but to prevent these attacks on retailers from happening in the future,” said Democrat Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass in a statement about the Nordstrom robbery.
