Vice President Kamala Harris can’t “put together an English sentence” according to former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
He spoke with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo about the race and his reasoning behind suspending his campaign while declaring the current Democratic nominee not “worthy” of the presidency.
“Why wasn’t it a better move to stay neutral and command the attention of both sides as long as you could for the duration of this campaign?” Cuomo asked the former Independent candidate who endorsed Republican nominee Donald Trump after ending his own campaign.

“Well, it became clear to me, Chris, that I was not gonna be allowed on the debating stage, which was really my only path to victory. I was already being boycotted by all of the mainstream media, the liberal media,” Kennedy responded.
“I had no way to grow, and our polling was showing that if I stayed in the race, Vice President Harris would win, and I did not want that outcome,” he added.
“I don’t think that Vice President Harris is a worthy president of this country. I think we need to have a president who can give an interview, who can articulate a vision, who can put together an English sentence, who can articulate and defend her policies and her record, and who can engage in a debate with, and regular debates unscripted appearances, president or vice president,” the former Democrat contended.
With the help of a complicit media, Harris has successfully evaded having a press conference since replacing President Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket. She has only done one sit-down interview. albeit a pre-recorded and edited one with CNN’s Dana Bash in which she needed her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz to join her.

“Vice President Harris’s speech at the convention made it very clear that she would continue the warfare state,” Kennedy told Cuomo, saying Harris is “bragging about it” and that she sees warfare as a “frontline tool of American foreign policy.”
Kennedy’s name will likely remain on ballots in some states this November, including Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina. The environmental lawyer attempted to remove his name from ballots in swing states so as to help Trump’s chances.
“What the irony is, Chris, we have been trying to get on the ballot in every state and we succeeded now in doing that. And now we’re taking ourselves off in the states where we would harm President Trump,” Kennedy said.
“The Democrat Party, which was suing us to keep us off the ballot in those states, is now suing us to force us to be on the ballot,” he told Cuomo. “I mean, it’s, if we’re talking about principles here, you know, I think that we ought to, I ought to be able to be on the ballots where I want to be on and not be on the ballot where I don’t want to be on.”
In speaking of the partnership with Trump and a possible position in a second Trump administration, Kennedy spoke of unity.
“I’m not … we’re not talking about a particular position for me in the government,” he clarified.
“What our agreement [is] about, it’s about a unity party, about unifying our party over certain objectives,” he added. “And this will allow me to continue to disagree with President Trump on issues that I don’t agree with him on, and him to disagree with me.”
