RFK Jr. tells CNN Biden a ‘worse threat to democracy’ than Trump

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. schooled CNN over who’s the real threat to “democracy” and it’s not the guy who the network has spent years demonizing 24/7.

On Monday, the independent presidential candidate appeared on the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news” and set the record straight about the dangerous authoritarianism of President Joe Biden who has weaponized the government to censor and target enemies of the Democratic party.

During his discussion with Erin Burnett, the host repeatedly tried to turn the topic to presumptive GOP nominee Donald J. Trump, the left’s boogeyman, but Kennedy correctly pointed out that it wasn’t the former president who has abused his powers.

“When people talk about the threat to democracy that Trump poses, do you really think that that is as equal… equal to Biden?”

“Listen, I can make the argument that President Biden is a much worse threat to democracy, and the reason for that is President Biden is the first candidate in history, the first president in history that has used the federal agencies to censor political speech…to censor his opponent,” Kennedy responded.

“I can say that because I just won a case in the federal court of appeals and now before that Supreme Court that shows that he started censoring not just me but thirty-seven hours after he took the oath of office he was censoring me,” he continued. “No president in the country has ever done that.”

“The greatest threat to democracy is not somebody who questions election returns but a president of the United States who uses the power of his office to force the social media companies, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, to open a portal and give access to that portal to the FBI, to the CIA, to the IRS, to CISA, to NIH to censor his political critics,” Kennedy said.

He also brought up how Biden has refused to provide him with Secret Service protection as a candidate, a very serious matter considering his family history with both his father and uncle being the victims of political assassinations.

“President Biden, for the first president in history to use the secret…his power over the Secret Service, to deny Secret Service protection to one of his political opponents for political reasons. He’s weaponizing the federal agencies. Those are really critical threats…,” RFK Jr. said before Burnett cut him off with the lie that Trump tried to “overturn a free and fair election,” a narrative that CNN has relentlessly pushed.

While conceding her point that Trump did indeed try to “overthrow” the 2020 election, Kennedy asked, “Who is a worse threat to democracy?” He then set Burnett straight about the importance of the First Amendment which has been under attack from the Biden regime.

“If you have a government that can silence its opponents, it has license for any atrocity,” he said.

Kennedy’s campaign has struck fear into the heart of the regime, especially after he tabbed Nicole Shanahan as his running mate, the former wife of co-founder Sergey Brin, who is an influential figure in Silicon Valley circles and whose views will be alluring to leftists who are disenchanted with Biden.

It’s probably a safe bet that Biden won’t be signing off on that Secret Service protection anytime soon.
