RNC furious with CNN for allegedly scrubbing Hunter Biden laptop reference from McDaniel interview

The Republican National Committee is reportedly furious after CNN evidently censored an interview with RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel that took place with anchor Chris Wallace, removing references to Hunter Biden’s laptop and the “spies who lie” letter.

Wallace was attempting to grill McDanial concerning the so-called integrity of the 2020 election result and somehow entrap her into admitting that the RNC conspired with former President Trump. CNN decided to remove her comments pertaining to the suppression of the New York Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell” and how the censoring of that information potentially swayed the election.

Wallace asked McDaniel how “fair” she thought the election process was.

“I don’t think he won it fair, I don’t. I’m not gonna say that,” McDaniel remarked concerning President Biden winning the election. “Let’s look at the Hunter Biden laptop. Fifty-one people in the intelligence agencies signed a letter saying it was Russian disinformation; that’s what the public disseminated, was being told. That’s not true. That’s a lie.”

“So you’re suggesting that he may not be the legitimately elected president?” Wallace slyly asked, attempting to ensnare the RNC chair.

“I’m saying the American people were not given the information they deserve before that election,” McDaniel responded.

The back and forth over the election was part of this week’s episode of “Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace?” on Max and was set to air on CNN Friday night. A clip of the interview that was shown on CNN Wednesday truncated McDaniel’s comments after she stated, “I don’t think he won it fair, I don’t. I’m not gonna say that,” and then pivoted to Wallace asking, “You’re saying you’re not sure, as the Republican Party chair, that he was the legitimately elected president?”

Not a good look as CNN infamously suppressed the original Hunter Biden laptop story.

“Deceptively editing an interview and continuing to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story is why the American people keep losing trust in the media,” RNC spokesman Keith Schipper told the New York Post in an interview.

When the New York Post asked CNN about the edit, a spokesperson said there was “nothing to comment on.”

“New episodes of ‘Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?’ drop Friday mornings on Max, and air Fridays at 10 pm ET/PT on CNN,” the spokesperson stated, not addressing the issue. “The hour-long CNN program will air this evening. Chris appeared on CNN Primetime on Wednesday to preview the full interview with a clip.”

According to the New York Post, “Nearly four in five Americans say ‘truthful’ reporting about Hunter Biden’s shady business deals revealed in emails from his abandoned laptop would have affected the 2020 election results, a poll last year showed.”

Wallace was extremely offensive and combative in his questioning of McDaniel, making it clear he has totally morphed into a CNN leftist.

“When did you stop being an election denier?” he asked McDaniel about the 2020 election.

“I think saying there were problems with 2020 is very real. I don’t think that’s election denying,” the RNC chair clapped back. “I mean, Chris, I’m from Wayne County [Michigan]. We had a woman send a note saying, ‘I’m being told to backdate ballots.’ We had to look into that. That’s deeply concerning. When you have friends who are poll-watching and being kicked out, that’s deeply concerning.”

Wallace sprang the trap he neatly laid for McDaniel at that point.

“Wait a minute, are you saying as the chair of the Republican Party that you still have questions as to whether or not Joe Biden was the duly-elected president?” Wallace asked her.

“Joe Biden’s the president,” McDaniel replied.

“No, I didn’t ask you whether he’s the president,” Wallace responded attempting to get her to take the bait. “Do you think he won the election?”

“I think there were lots of problems with 2020,” the RNC chair reiterated.

“Do you think he won the election?” Wallace repeated.

“Ultimately, he won the election, but there were lots of problems with the 2020 election,” McDaniel asserted.

“And that’s fair,” Wallace speciously replied, before McDaniel aired her concerns about Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Conservatives were not surprised, just disgusted:
