It’s not all sunshine and roses for the newly elected New York City Mayor Mamdani.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani had to cut short a recent appearance after he was energetically booed off a Staten Island stage on Tuesday.
Mamdani was attending the NYPD’s 43rd Patrol Borough National Night Out Against Crime, and according to video from the event, he wasn’t well received.
Editor-in-chief of “City and State NY”, Jeff Coltin shared the awkward moment when Mamdani took the stage in front of roughly 3,500 attendees.
