Fox News contributor and former Deputy National Security Advisor K.T. McFarland opined on the “gut punch to the American people” laid out in Special Counsel John Durham’s report as she warned of reasons alleged election interference will happen again.
“Take it to the bank. They will absolutely interfere in 2024.”

The longtime government official who served roles in the Ford, Reagan and Trump administrations, joined Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business recently to discuss the G7 summit and the growing dangers of China before the discussion turned to the Durham report.
The more than 300-page document had exposed the Russian collusion narrative against former President Donald Trump for the hoax it had always been, a point McFarland linked to broader concerns about election integrity.
“We now have black-and-white evidence that the FBI interfered in the 2016 election. And then when they failed to get their candidate elected, Hillary Clinton, then they set out to destroy the Trump administration,” she charged.
The former deputy NSA didn’t let up there as she then raised the CIA’s involvement in discrediting the Hunter Biden laptop story heading into the 2020 presidential election. As reported, former CIA Director Mike Morell had admitted in an Oct. 2020 email that getting 51 former intelligence officials to corroborate the false claim about the laptop being Russian disinformation had been an attempt “to give the [Biden] campaign…a talking point to push back on Trump on this issue.”

“So, they’ve gotten away with it for two elections. They’re for sure gonna get away with — try to get away with it — in ’24, right? Cause there’s no consequence,” McFarland asserted.
“The difference is, in 2024 the evidence is there. We now have the Durham investigation, we have all the congressional investigations — there is now hard evidence that there was election interference by the U.S. intelligence agencies and the Department of Justice,” she continued. “They’ve gotta be terrified — those individuals have to be terrified that a Republican president comes in in the 2024 election with a Republican attorney general, investigates them and charges them all with the crimes they’ve committed over the last eight years.”
Bartiromo agreed that there were “questions around these elections because of this interference” before she asked pointedly, “Do you think there will be election interference then in ’24?
“Take it to the bank,” McFarland charged. “They will absolutely interfere in 2024. We’re not sure how, but they will absolutely interfere, not only because they’re not gonna like whoever the Republican candidate is, but because they’re gonna protect their own hides.”
As to corporate media’s coverage of potential wrongdoings heading into the 2024 election, she asserted their record from 2016 and 2020 left them in the same position as the intel community, being incapable of admitting they were wrong because “it undercuts their whole reason for being. So they’re gonna continue to have the faith narrative and they’re gonna continue to coverup and pretend that nothing bad went on.”
Ultimately, McFarland said, “These people…they’re just selling us out. Not only to foreign leaders, but they’re interfering in our elections. They’re tearing up the Constitution. Why? Because they wanna protect their jobs. They wanna protect their ratings.”
“This is just a gut punch to the American people,” she concluded.
