President Joe Biden’s reelection hopes could be in big trouble as polls show public doubts about the geriatric leader’s age, leaving leftists with no real argument other than to desperately try to shift attention to former President Trump, and “The Five” cohost Jessica Tarlov is doing her part for the blue team.
On Tuesday’s edition of the top-rated Fox News political talk show, the crew discussed a new report from Axios that revealed the steps that Team Biden is taking to prevent the octogenarian career politician from falling on his face in public, including having him wear tennis shoes, using short stairs on Air Force One, and working with a physical therapist on balance exercises.

Asked by co-host Martha MacCallum if the Axios piece is evidence of a “movement to try to nudge him in the direction” of stepping aside, Tarlov defended her party’s leader against his detractors.
“There is a very public movement that is happening,” she answered. “Obviously Congressman Dean Phillips ended up being the face of it but you do see it in the numbers about whether people want him to run again and whether they think that he’s is up to the job and the Democratic numbers are lower than the Republican numbers on that. But they still exist.”
Tarlov also tried to gaslight her co-panelists by likening the sneakers worn by Peter Doocy of “Fox & Friends” to Biden’s shoes.
“Peter Doocy also when they were on their latest overseas trip was talking about Biden’s schedule. Remember when Biden said, ‘I got to…you know, I’m going to go take a nap and it’s late.’ And Peter said that he was working into the wee hours of the night. He said he’s held a complete schedule,” Tarlov added.
“And our perception around the world, by the way, is up since Biden came into the presidency,” she claimed.
“Based on what?” asked Jeanine Pirro.
“Based on what other world leaders and people in other countries think of America,” the show’s loopy leftist replied, not giving any specifics to back up her statement.
Tarlov then fell back on the “muh Trump” non-defense of Biden by rattling off a laundry list of the GOP frontrunner’s slips as if that somehow makes up for the mounting visible evidence that Biden is senile.
“But you said, okay, you don’t need to watch him. Let’s just hear what comes out of his mouth,” she said.
“And I put together some of Trump’s latest cognitive beauties from the last ten days,” Tarlov stated. “He said, you need an ID to buy bread. Has anyone shown ID to get Wonder Bread lately? He said that he ran against Obama in 2016. He ran against Hillary Clinton. He warned that Biden will get us into World War Two, which I’m pretty sure we already fought and won.”
“And yesterday, he confused Jeb Bush and George W. Bush and said that Jeb got us involved in the Middle East. And then, of course, there are his authoritarian posts on true social calling for the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to be executed and saying that he’s going to investigate media companies that he doesn’t like,” she continued, adding two unrelated talking points into her response.
After Tarlov’s whataboutism, co-host Jesse Watters ripped the curtain away from Biden’s Potemkin presidency.
“So Biden has to stay upright and Trump has to stay out of prison,” he said. “Think of how ridiculous that is. That is the most corrupt and low-expectation situation where Joe Biden has to not fall flat on his face to have a shot at reelection.”
“And he promised us he would get us back to normal. But all he’s worried about is making himself look normal,” Watters continued. “He’s not worried about inflation. It’s not like ‘Oh, if I could just get inflation down, and rates down and crime down, illegal immigration down, then I’d have a shot. It’s I just need to stay on my two feet, then I can get back into the White House.”
“He’s forgotten about us. And his people have forgotten about us too because while they should be worrying about health care and access to affordable… they’re worried about the commander-in-chief not falling over a sandbag,” he said. “They’re trying to make sure he has the right shoes. They’re trying to lower the back of the stairs to get back into Air Force One. Those aren’t the things that they should be concerned about.”
“They’re are working for us. They should be concerned with us. They should not be concerned with the prop of a president being propped up,” he added. “This whole presidency has been choreographed, from the fake set to these little fake press conferences, to the lack of access, this guy is a walking stand-in, and he can’t even stand, and he’s about this close to falling down again, and that’s how scared they are.”
