The young gangster rapper who quickly bailed himself out of jail only days after accidentally shooting both himself and a New York Police Department officer has a habit of flashing guns, gang signs and drugs in his music videos.

The 16-year-old rapper Camrin Williams, aka C Blu, has almost 10 music videos on his YouTube page, virtually all of them featuring guns and gang signs, in addition to marijuana blunts and an extreme deal of profanity. It’s not clear though whether the guns are real or just props.

YouTube is the same social media network that permanently banned conservative radio show host and commentator Dan Bongino for spreading so-called “misinformation” about the coronavirus.

Below is one of the rapper’s music videos (*Graphic content):

“That b–ch getting shot, keep me a .22 it fit in my pocket, mask on just in case that I flock it, don’t got the gun then I’m moving like Jason, that boy ran so fast we thought he was racing,” he raps at one point, apparently describing himself chasing after and murdering an unarmed enemy.

In another music video, he sparks a marijuana blunt, flaunts a large amount of cash and then promises to take his enemies out of their “misery.”

Watch:

On Tuesday, Jan. 18th, Williams was standing within a “disorderly crowd” outside an apartment building in the Bronx when NYPD officer Kaseem Pennant approached the group with a six-person (including him) “public safety team.”

The officers asked Williams to take his hands out of his pockets, but he allegedly refused. This led to a scuffle, and during the scuffle his gun accidentally fired, hitting him in the groin and Pennant in the leg. Both survived.

After receiving hospital treatment for his wound, Williams was charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal use of a firearm — and then shipped off to a juvenile detention facility.

But despite a request from local prosecutors that he be held in the facility indefinitely, a notorious left-wing judge offered him a chance to post bail.

It took about a week, but Williams reportedly scrounged up enough money, partly by receiving an advance from a deal he’d recently inked with Interscope Records, to bail himself out Thursday .

A day later, he published an unapologetic post to Instagram advising his supporters to “believe NOTHING” they read and see from the media.

“Believe NOTHING u read and HALF of what u see! Love my family who always hold me down! my day ones who know what it is! my label and my loyal fans for standing by me thru this!” the post reads.

In an interview earlier this month, Williams disputed the idea that his videos are a depiction of his real life, claiming that in reality, he wants to attend college to be a biochemist.

“Since n—-z listen to just the music, they only see the outside of us. They don’t really know how we are in person and shit like that. We joke around. N—-z don’t know the real us,” he said.

Listen:

His lawyer, Dawn Florio, has argued the same.

“That’s just his rap persona. That’s to sell records. He’s not a violent person. He wants to pursue a college education and be a biochemist. He definitely wants to pursue music, but he wants to continue his education by going to college,” Florio told the Post.

That’s terrific, but the problem is that the way that he’s been been living thus far doesn’t match this picture of him.

As previously reported, the New York Daily News notes that he’s “a member of the Reyway crew, a subset of the Crips, and was arrested at age 14 on May 13, 2020 with a Taurus firearm.”

“That arrest took place near his home. He also had an amount of marijuana on him, a police source said. Cops charged him as a juvenile. In December, he was given probation, which was set to expire in May,” according to the Daily News.

So to be clear, he was released on bail despite not only accidentally shooting a police officer, but also doing so while on probation.

Below is another music video from Williams:

Even Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, has taken note of the case.

“This individual was just placed on probation for possession of a gun in December. In January he’s back in possession of a gun. Something is wrong with that. We are making tactical errors in preventing the law enforcement community from being able to rid our communities of guns,” he reportedly said last week.

NYPD Police Benevolent Association union president Patrick Lynch, meanwhile, issued a statement slamming the judge presiding over the case for having let out someone whom he, Lynch, believes is likely to return to committing even more crimes.

“If anybody wants to know why we have a crisis of violence in this city, or why we’re about to bury two hero police officers, look no further than this disgraceful bail release. This individual chose to carry illegal guns twice. He chose to fight with and shoot a New York City police officer,” he said in a statement.

“There’s no reason to believe he won’t do the exact same thing when he’s out on the street tonight. Shame on Judge Denis Boyle for allowing this to happen. The people of the Bronx won’t be safe as long as he’s on the bench.”

Williams’ Instagram also includes a video of him smoking what appears to be marijuana.

Williams is young enough that he still stands a chance of correcting course and getting his act together before he winds up in prison or dead like so many other rappers. This doesn’t mean he has to give up his music. But it does mean he needs to stop breaking the law …
