Anti-Tesla protesters were met by a “shield” of pro-Tesla counterprotesters in various parts of the country this weekend.
Take what happened in Gainesville, Florida, where the Alachua County Republican Party organized a counterprotest to push back against “Tesla Takedown” protesters who were targeting the city’s Tesla dealership.
“The group Badass Feminists Gainesville started protesting in front of the dealership on Feb. 5 against Elon Musk and the Trump administration,” according to The Gainesville Sun.
“The counterprotest forced the Badass Gainesville Feminists to move from its usual spot to the intersection of North Main Street and Northeast 23rd Avenue,” the reporting continued.

Counterprotesters were also seen in Columbus, Ohio.
“We put Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the Trump administration and his agenda into office and now it’s time to stand behind him and say, ‘We are here for you, we support you and we’re willing to come out and show it,'” one counterprotester told local station WBNS.
The Columbus counterprotest was reportedly organized by a guy known as “Patriot Dad.”
“People need to know that the folks who put Donald Trump into office are not asleep; we haven’t checked out,” the gentleman told The Columbus Dispatch.
“[The protesters] are going to do what they’re going to do; that’s fine, but we’re going to come out here and just remind people that, hey, there actually are people who care about American companies and American workers, and they care about protecting the property of a company like Tesla, which is a really important company in this country,” he added.
It’s confirmed! The Tesla Shield is a go for tomorrow at the Easton Tesla dealer in Columbus Ohio: 4 PM.

Counterprotesters were even seen in heavily Democratic regions of the country like New Jersey and New York.
In northern New Jersey, pro-Trump supporter Terry Beck organized “a caravan of Trump-supporting vehicles, including trucks and motorcycles to greet anti-Tesla protesters,” according to NBC News.
“He’s proven his record,” she told the network, referencing Tesla owner Elon Musk. “I look up to him. Every person should look up to him.”
Another New Jersey counterprotester, John Tabacco, told The Verge that, if anything, the counterprotesters are the real protesters, and the anti-Tesla protesters are the counterprotesters.
“This is a rally for us — a support rally for Trump, DOGE, and America-first policies,” he said. “And I think those people [the anti-Trump protesters] showed up today as counter-protesters.”

According to NBC News, hundreds of anti-Tesla protests were scheduled for this past Saturday alone.
“More than 200 protests are scheduled to take place Saturday during what organizers are calling a global day of action, part of a campaign called ‘Tesla Takedown,'” the network reported on Friday.
“The organizers are hoping to damage Musk’s political standing by hurting the sales and stock price of the electric-car maker, the foundation of Musk’s wealth. They’ve set a goal of 500 demonstrations worldwide, although it’s unclear if they’ll meet that,” the reporting continued.
While the protests have been building up for a while now, the counterprotests are new.

These protests come as the left continues to ramp up its violent assault on not only Tesla but Tesla owners as well.
Congressional Democrats, meanwhile, have nothing to say about this wave of domestic terrorism.
“House Democratic leaders Jeffries and Pelosi gave … the cold shoulder when asked to respond to the string of violent attacks against Tesla, as Democrats’ silence on the ‘domestic terrorism’ against Tesla grows louder by the day,” according to Fox News.
“Jeffries refused to acknowledge the question when asked to denounce the violence as his staff ushered him inside the Capitol, earning a disapproving shake of the head from one staffer. Pelosi brushed off a question about her take on the situation with a polite wave, [saying] she was running late,” the reporting continues.
