Trump: ‘We are going to end crazy Nancy Pelosi’

During a rally Friday for Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz, whom he’s endorsed, former President Donald Trump promised voters that congressional Republicans will “end” current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi if they retake the House.

“Six months from now, the people of Pennsylvania are going to vote to fire the radical left Democrats, and you’re going to send Dr. Oz to fight for you in the U.S. Senate, and you’re going to elect an incredible slate of true America first Republicans to Congress, and together, we are going to end crazy Nancy Pelosi!” he said.

“She’s crazy. We’re gonna end her career. They say she wants to move to Florida. Keep her the hell out of Florida. Keep her where she is,” he then clarified.

Current polling data points to a blowout victory for Republicans come November, even if Roe v. Wade does wind up being overturned, meaning Pelosi’s reign is indeed poised for an abrupt termination.

CNN reported Friday that between a poll taken before this week’s Roe v. Wade leak and a poll taken immediately after, the uptick in voter enthusiasm has actually been higher among Republicans.

“Among Democrats, 43% now say they are extremely or very enthusiastic, up 7 points. Among Republicans, it’s 56%, up 9 points. And voters who say overturning Roe would make them ‘happy’ are nearly twice as enthusiastic about voting this fall as those who say such a ruling would leave them ‘angry’ (38% extremely enthusiastic among those happy, 20% among those angry),” the outlet reported.

The poll also found Republicans ahead by seven points on the generic 2022 ballot.

In addition to promising the “end” of Pelosi, former President Trump also vowed to terminate current President Joe Biden’s widely panned Disinformation Governance Board.

“We don’t have free speech, and we have a totally crooked press. All of them back there. We will immediately terminate Joe Biden’s so-called Disinformation Governance Board. How about that one? A chilling and un-American power grab that we will not allow to stand,” he said.

Announced last week, the so-called Disinformation Governance Board has prompted widespread concerns about the potential implications for free speech, in addition to the drafting of legislation to preemptively disband and defund the “Orwellian”-sounding unit.

Trump also celebrated his 55-0 winning streak vis-a-vis his primary endorsements.

“Every single candidate that I endorsed won their primaries on Tuesday. They went 22-0. And then Texas, a couple weeks before, we won 33-0. So we have a total record of 55-0,” he said.

Trump wasn’t exaggerating.

“On Tuesday, a total of 22 of Trump’s chosen candidates in the Indiana and Ohio primaries won their respective races, including author J.D. Vance, who was way behind in the polls in the crowded field before the former president intervened just three weeks ago. Trump, who has endorsed dozens of people across all forms of government, is currently on a 55-0 streak with regard to picking candidates,” according to Newsweek.

Moreover, a Rasmussen Reports poll published this week found greater enthusiasm for Trump’s endorsements than for current President Joe Biden’s endorsements.

The poll specifically found that 59 percent of GOP voters would be “more likely” to vote for a Trump endorsement, whereas only 47 percent of Democrat voters would be “more likely” to vote for a Biden endorsement.
