President Donald Trump will not be sending any “high level” representatives to the 2025 United Nations’ climate summit.
The meeting, known as COP30, will take place in Brazil and will include all attending countries rolling out their plans to take action on the climate and plan future initiatives while negotiating agreements with other countries. While a White House official did confirm that the president won’t be sending “high level” representatives to the summit, he has been engaging with global leaders on issues of trade and energy.
The Trump administration has refused to indulge in the climate hysteria being pushed by leftist progressives who want to institute more bureaucracy and red tape on companies. Instead, he has attempted to make oil deals that mutually benefit the United States and the countries they are made with, something that has irritated Trump’s critics.
“This week, Trump announced that South Korea has agreed to purchase ‘vast quantities’ of U.S. oil and gas and said his administration is also eyeing an energy deal with China,” The Hill reported.
“Then-President Biden attended two COP summits during his term. Other officials from his administration went to the ones he did not attend,” the article continued.
The event will take place from November 10 to November 21 in Belém, according to a statement on the COP30 Brazil Amazonia website.
“Hosting the Summit in the Brazilian Amazon carries profound symbolism. The region, considered essential to the planet’s climate balance, will serve as the stage for a high-level environmental meeting for the first time. This also marks the first time a COP has been held in a rainforest. The event reinforces Brazil’s role as an international leader in advancing sustainable development, tropical forest conservation, and climate justice,” it reads.

Climate change is natural. Paying more taxes isn’t going to change that.

Exactly, because Trump, along with the rest of us know, that climate change is a big manufactured hoax. No need to waste money by going
