‘We’re coming’ – new ‘border czar’ puts sanctuary cities on notice, migrants already reacting

The upcoming Trump administration’s expected border czar, Tom Homan, has warned sanctuary jurisdictions that nothing will stop him from deporting criminal aliens.

“If we can’t get assistance from New York City, we may have to double the number of agents we send to New York City because we’re going to do the job with you or without you,” he said Monday on Fox News, referencing Mayor Eric Adams’ refusal to confirm whether he’ll cooperate with “deportations.”

In a separate statement to the New York Post, Homan said he hopes President-elect Donald Trump puts maximum pressure on any sanctuary city and sanctuary state leaders who refuse to cooperate.

“I’m hoping the president files a lawsuit against them and withholds federal funding,” he said.

That said, he hopes he’ll be able to congenially work with local cops to identify and arrest criminal aliens. Otherwise, he said, immigration officials will have to do things the hard way.

“Then we’ll wait til they [the criminal aliens] get out of jail, then we’ll go out into the neighborhoods and get them,” Homan explained. “If they’re not willing to do it then get out of the way — we’re coming.”

He did note that these operations will require lots of manpower, though he wasn’t stressed about this.

“So if I have to flood agents to the sanctuary cities to get the job done then that’s what we’re gonna do,” Homan said.

By becoming the border czar, Homan will be replacing current Vice President Kamala Harris, whose tenure as czar has coincided with millions of criminal aliens entering the U.S.

“I’m going to be extremely successful because I’m following failure,” Homan quipped, referencing Harris’ garbage performance.

Those who’ve worked with Homan in the past are confident in his ability to get the job done.

“No one has better ideas for strong border security than him,” former ICE Denver Chief John Fabbricatore told the Post. “Having had the privilege to work under Tom Homan, I can confidently say he is a ‘cop’s cop.’”

“His decades of immigration operational experience and no-nonsense approach are perfectly suited for the role of Border Czar. Tom will enforce the law effectively and humanely. I’m confident that he’ll assemble a capable team to address the challenges at the border efficiently,” he added.

Derek Maltz, who also previously worked with Homan, added that he believes the new border czar is “perfect” for the job.

“Tom understands this, plus he’s got very very intelligent and experienced partners that he’s worked with on these issues of immigration,” Maltz told the Post. “He’s the perfect guy.”

Just the thought of Homan as border czar already has criminal aliens in New York City freaking out. One criminal alien mother was spotted crying in the lobby of the Roosevelt Hotel shelter this week because of Trump’s election victory.

Another criminal alien there, this one male, told the Daily Mail that he was planning to flee the country and head to Costa Rica.

“I am a scared man,” the traveling illegal said. “I don’t want them to grab me and hold me in some immigration jail for who knows how long.”

Meanwhile, legal NYC immigrants weren’t sweating even a little.

“[Trump] says he’s going to deport the illegal migrants which is not a bad thing,” registered asylum seeker Fernando Peralta said. “We came here to work and we’re not all the same…. We’re not undocumented. We’re gonna be fine ’cause the government should go after the bad guys.”

Peralta also admitted that he has been victimized by criminal aliens.

“One of them tried to rob me the other day and I punched him in the face,” he said. “Look how we’re working here and they’re out there stealing. Why would you come here and steal?”

Another legal migrant, a woman named Nellie, agreed.

“It’s not about hate or racism,” she said, defending Trump’s deportation plans. “It’s that if someone comes here to do harm and commit crimes, then it is the president’s duty to clean things up.”
