‘Why is his face getting redder?’ Bill Clinton and Dr Ruth spotted having animated convo at US Open

Somewhat fittingly, former President Bill Clinton was seated next to famed sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer Monday night during Serena Williams’ first-round match of the U.S. Open.

The former president has a storied history of promiscuous behavior and he and Dr. Ruth were engaged in an animated conversation at one point that caught the attention of the broadcast booth covering the event for the left-of-center sports network ESPN.

Hosts Chris Fowler, Chrissie Evert and John McEnroe took delight in the intimate exchange as they pondered what the two may be discussing,

“Who knows what they’re talking about,” McEnroe said.

Evert responded to say Westheimer was probably giving Clinton advice on something.

Dr. Ruth touched the side of Clinton’s face as Evert spoke, prompting McEnroe to playfully chime in, “Why is his face getting redder?”

The U.S. Open is the hottest ticket in sports right now as Williams, widely seen as one of the best women’s tennis players ever, if not the best, is effectively delivering a farewell performance.

No longer a spring chicken at the age of 40, Williams recently announced that she will “evolve” away from the game after the U.S. Open to focus on business and family — she defeated Montenegro’s Danka Kovinic, 6-3, 6-3, in Monday night’s match.

Naturally, given his affinity for the limelight, New York City Mayor Eric Adams was among the celebrities at Monday’s match. Others on hand included Mike Tyson, Anna Wintour and Spike Lee.

One thing is certain here, Clinton will never escape his philandering reputation… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter
