Zohran Mamdani shuts down meeting with ‘Shark Tank’ investor Kevin O’Leary: ‘No interest’

New York City mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani is proving that his socialist campaign rhetoric isn’t just talk.

Mamdani is positioning himself to rake in votes from radical leftists in New York City, and it’s clear he has no interest in listening to anyone else. Take it from Shark Tank investor Kevin O’Leary, who reached out to the candidate’s team for a discussion and was ignored, then turned away.

Watch:

“I’m in New York for two days and reached out twice to Zohran Mamdani’s team to request a face-to-face meeting. No reply last night. This morning, they said ‘no interest.’ That’s disappointing. If he wants to lead this city, he should be open to hearing from investors. I’m not partisan. I care about policy. And I had real advice on housing, real estate, tech, and economic growth,” O’Leary wrote in his X post.

The comments quickly filled up with people speculating on why Mamdani’s team may have rejected O’Leary’s offer:
