35-yr-old woman claims to identify as 15-yr-old trans boy after arrest for sexting teen runaways

After being arrested for sexting runaway teenagers and supplying them with booze and drugs, 35-year-old Amanda “Taz” Dorrough from Washington State announced that she identifies as a 15-year-old boy.

The Port Angeles Police Department was notified by the vice president of the Port Angeles High School after two students reportedly admitted in the office that Dorrough planned to run away with the teens to Seattle, the New York Post reports.

Dorrough, who was, according to the incident report, already the recipient of 10 different police reports regarding her involvement with children, was charged with “unlawful harboring of minors.”

“The first reported call was made on April 11, 2023, and since then 11 calls in total were made, including the final and most recent call that led to her arrest,” The Post reveals.

Three teenagers were seen “running through the parking lot away from Dorrough’s apartment” when officers searched the location of Dorrough’s apartment for the minors two days before her arrest. One officer tried and failed several times to speak to someone inside the apartment, despite hearing movement on the other side of the door.

The officer then checked out the gully where, according to the report, Dorrough allegedly hung out with the students. Sure enough, the case report said, Dorrough was seen sitting next to one of the kids who was identified as a runaway.

The next day, May 3, cops contacted the 35-year-old and let her know the child was a runaway.

On the ground in the gully, police found “two empty condom packets, one unopened condom, a bra, and an empty cigarette packet with a lighter.”

Four minors — one of whom was on the runaway list and had a juvenile warrant — were seen by police “cuddling with each other on the ground.”

Once it was confirmed that Dorrough knew one of the kids was a runaway, the reporting officer believed there was “probable cause” to pick her up for “Unlawful Harboring of a Minor.”

Prior to her arrest, the suspect allegedly told one officer that “teenagers ‘understand’ her better” and she “‘identifies’ better with teenage kids.”

After being transported to Clallam County Jail, she reportedly told the staff that she identifies as a 15-year-old and, according to police, had previously declared that she identifies as a teenage boy.

Dorrough’s inappropriate behavior was known to the police.

Concerned neighbors had alerted them to the fact that kids were “constantly” going in and out of her apartment. According to one neighbor, a topless, braless Dorrough was seen in the hall with what looked like a 13-year-old boy, the report reads.

Police had also received word from a therapy clinic client who reportedly received a tip that Dorrough had a “‘sexting’ relationship with a 12-year-old” and “trespassed from the Boys & Girls Club, by the staff, due to perceived ‘predatory’ behavior.”

One parent found her runaway daughter in Dorrough’s apartment, where the girl smoked what she thought was spice, took meth, and drank vodka.

Seattle Radio host Jason Rantz broke the disturbing story.

“An alleged juvenile victim, identified only as T.A., told authorities that he found Dorrough to be ‘pedophile-ish,’ according to the incident report,” Rantz writes. “It says T.A. reports that Amanda told him that she liked him and when he didn’t reciprocate the feeling, she got upset and ‘almost killed herself.’ He alleged she touched him inappropriately and has been completely nude in front of him.”

Rantz highlights the hypocrisy of the progressive left in dealing with those who “hold an identity in conflict with reality.”

“There are obviously profound implications for an adult who ‘identifies’ as a child. This case highlights the issues: an actual 15-year-old acting the way Dorrough allegedly acted would unlikely lead to an arrest or a maximum jail sentence of 10 years,” he writes. “That Dorrough is 35 years old changes everything.”

If you simply identify as someone of the opposite sex, he argues, Progressives believe you should be treated as though you are of that opposite sex, and if you don’t agree, you are a bigot.

“When it comes to trans issues, Progressives demand you accept their every position,” Rantz states. “They claim no nuance on issues and judge you as a bigot for questioning the actions of men who identify as women and vice versa. Yet these same people won’t use the exact same argument to defend Dorrough because they don’t accept the alleged behavior. Unless they’re defending Dorrough, perhaps the far-Left should offer some grace to people navigating transgender topics.”
