Angel Reese trashes Caitlin Clark fans: ‘I think there’s a lot of racism’

WNBA star Angel Reese said that fans of her archrival Caitlin Clark have subjected her to harassment and suggested that they are racists without providing a smidgen of proof.

The Chicago Sky forward has carried over her collegiate grudge with Clark into the pros, jealously huffing for months about the attention given to the Indiana Fever superstar, a truly transformational player who has been the target of much racial resentment and regular on-court thuggery.

The former LSU Tigers star made her accusation against the fans as well as seeming to insinuate that Clark is down with it during a recent edition of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast.

“Caitlin is an amazing player and I’ve always thought she was an amazing player,” Reese said of her hated rival. “We’ve been playing each other since high school, literally been playing each other since high school and knowing that like there’s never been beef.”

“We’ve talked trash to each other in AAU, it’s been that, so I think it’s really just the fans, her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans that are like, they ride for her and I respect that, respectfully,” she continued “But sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism when it comes to it and I don’t believe she stands on any of that.”

“But when you come, when it’s behind your name, that’s when a lot of people are like, oh I think ‘I don’t like her cause her fans are saying this, this, this.’ No, I don’t believe in her heart that she has hatred towards me, and I’m sure believes that I don’t have hatred towards her but I think her fanbase has gone, I’m talkin’ about like… it’s a lot.”

Reese claimed that she’s received death threats and had people follow her home and being “sexualized” with vulgar AI “naked” pictures made of her, presumably by Clark fans.

Her comments drew a strong response from X users who whistled her for a hard foul for making such claims without any proof.

Clark has been on the receiving end of constant abuse by Reese and other black players who clearly resent her. Many feel that much of it is likely attributable to envy but also anti-white racism.
