WNBA star Angel Reese said that fans of her archrival Caitlin Clark have subjected her to harassment and suggested that they are racists without providing a smidgen of proof.
The Chicago Sky forward has carried over her collegiate grudge with Clark into the pros, jealously huffing for months about the attention given to the Indiana Fever superstar, a truly transformational player who has been the target of much racial resentment and regular on-court thuggery.
The former LSU Tigers star made her accusation against the fans as well as seeming to insinuate that Clark is down with it during a recent edition of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast.

“Caitlin is an amazing player and I’ve always thought she was an amazing player,” Reese said of her hated rival. “We’ve been playing each other since high school, literally been playing each other since high school and knowing that like there’s never been beef.”
“We’ve talked trash to each other in AAU, it’s been that, so I think it’s really just the fans, her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans that are like, they ride for her and I respect that, respectfully,” she continued “But sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism when it comes to it and I don’t believe she stands on any of that.”
“But when you come, when it’s behind your name, that’s when a lot of people are like, oh I think ‘I don’t like her cause her fans are saying this, this, this.’ No, I don’t believe in her heart that she has hatred towards me, and I’m sure believes that I don’t have hatred towards her but I think her fanbase has gone, I’m talkin’ about like… it’s a lot.”
Reese claimed that she’s received death threats and had people follow her home and being “sexualized” with vulgar AI “naked” pictures made of her, presumably by Clark fans.
Her comments drew a strong response from X users who whistled her for a hard foul for making such claims without any proof.
Deservedly so they are now criticizing her. Reese is just petty and jealous. Uncalled for attack on Clark and her fans.

Why do they keep trying to divide people among race? How about they’re both good players and just give your best effort and be competitive with eachother?

Only racism I have seen is from the Reese fanbase

You can always smash the racism button when things aren’t going your way.

I’m a racist. And I like to do and say a lot of racist things. And if you disagree with or find me annoying, you’re super racist. And I don’t like racists. Stop being mean to me. – Angel Reese

Taking a page from Jessie Smolet. However you spell his name. Maybe she should focus on her basketball playing instead of BS.

The reason people like Caitlin Clark more than Angel Reese is Caitlin is not obnoxious and doesn’t knock people down on the basketball court on purpose. Angel Reese has an obnoxious attitude and a huge chip on her shoulder. I’d like to celebrate her, but she drags race into it.

always race card. totally disturbing and makes my stomach turn. Hope she fails now. Why not just play ball? Unknown.

Clark has been on the receiving end of constant abuse by Reese and other black players who clearly resent her. Many feel that much of it is likely attributable to envy but also anti-white racism.
