A deluge of “hateful emails” in the wake of a viral ejection found a Trump-supporting influencer looking to set the record straight about events at a rally for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
Known as Thelma Louise on social media, a content creator who left the Democratic Party two years ago recounted traveling two hours to attend the Senate candidate’s rally in San Antonio on Sunday. It was there that an instance of reported mistaken identity found her unceremoniously removed, roasted online, and awaiting a public apology.
In an initial set of posts, Louise shared video from the event with a caption that read in part, “All I was doing was recording footage to share online,” as she could be heard speaking with the person escorting her out, “And there’s no one that I can talk to about this?”
“Wow. Oh my gosh. I cannot believe this,” she continued as she reached the parking lot. “Someone just came up to me and said that Ken Paxton’s campaign manager wanted me to leave. I am just — my mouth is wide open right now.”

“So, I was just asked to leave this event, and I did nothing wrong. I was told that Ken Paxton’s campaign manager didn’t want me here. I’m not making any of this up … I have done nothing but support everyone on the Republican side, and this is how I get treated?” furthered Louise.
In another video, she describes leaving the Democratic Party two years prior, volunteering for President Donald Trump’s campaign and promoting Republicans.
“I’m not quite sure what’s going on but, to be walked out of a room full of people and isolated as if I had done something wrong, I cannot believe it,” she expressed, adding, “This, I will never forget. Never. This was beyond disrespectful.”
When you try to support someone & get treated like trash…it hurts.
Its inexcusable https://t.co/VnpsYH8K5h— Thelma Louise (@iamthelmalouise) October 19, 2026
Following her posts, an avalanche of comments came down accusing Paxton and his supporters of racism while deeming Louise an enabler.
In one example she shared online, a remark read in part, “You aint on the team you big dumb dolt. Keep fighting for your and your peoples subjugation. Keep living in fantasy world. Hope you get some likes … reality bit you on the a**, and you still dont want to believe it.”
Responding, Louise wrote, “Are hateful emails & comments supposed to change anything?? They won’t, trust me… What happened yesterday falls on that campaign manager- not the Republican party…which I still align with & still voting for …”
Are hateful emails & comments supposed to change anything??
They won’t, trust me…
What happened yesterday falls on that campaign manager- not the Republican party…which I still align with & still voting for ❤️🇺🇸
If anyone doesn’t like it- TOO BAD!
*Huge update coming soon!* https://t.co/33WZMpfRml— Thelma Louise (@iamthelmalouise) October 19, 2026
After promising an update, she delivered with another video providing the explanation she had been given of mistaken identity for a known agitator working on behalf of Texas state Rep. James Talarico’s (D) Senate campaign.
“I was told today that I was mistaken for a paid Talarico agitator. I don’t know if that’s true or not. I don’t know what to believe. Was I the only black woman in the building? Absolutely, I was. Have I also been a Ken Paxton supporter? Absolutely,” she expressed. “Have there been other people that have been paid agitators? There obviously have been. I do not know what is what.”
“And if that burns your biscuits so bad that you need to get online, and roast me, and call me all these different names and degrade me — go ahead and do you, because you know what, all you’re doing is showing your heart and who you really are,” added the content creator. “All I wanna do is share with you the truth that I have actually experienced myself.”
Assuring that her support for the GOP hasn’t wavered, Louise went on to state, “I’ll be speaking one on one with Ken Paxton soon, and I cannot wait to share that with you guys because I wanna hear from him, I wanna hear from his campaign manager and, despite the fact that they may think I was a Talarico paid agitator, I still deserve a public apology; especially after all of the support that I have given that campaign.”
