A brazen daylight robbery of a Chicago woman by a group of armed thugs is just one of a growing number of suspected attacks by the criminal gang.
On Sunday, a 45-year-old woman was walking in Chicago’s North Side Lakeview neighborhood, where homes sell for more than $1 million, when a car pulled up and several men got out and approached her, CBS 2 Chicago reported.
The entire incident was captured on a Ring doorbell camera and the woman is seen being shoved to the ground as the crooks relieve her of her possessions. One of the suspects displayed a gun, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The woman did not resist and could be heard screaming before the suspects fled. She was reportedly uninjured.

The same group of thugs is wanted for a crime spree stretching all over the city, according to CBS 2, which reported that detectives are connecting at least 12 armed robberies across four districts. A CPD spokesman said, “detectives have created a crime pattern with these offenders.”
“These guys come out, they’re masked, they have the gators over their faces. As you can see in one video how quickly it happens,” Chief of Detectives Brendan Deenihan told the affiliate. “But we believe someone knows who these individuals are.”
Neighbors who waited with the woman told CBS 2 that she was wearing earbuds as she walked and did not notice anything happening around her until a gun was shoved in her face.
“Years ago, we were told that this was a safe neighborhood (with) low crime and they were going to move resources elsewhere. But it doesn’t take long for criminals to figure that out,” one of the residents said.
Theft in Chicago is up by 64 percent, year on year, according to the Daily Mail.
