‘Current mood’: Media elites aghast Kari Lake acknowledged Arizona voter’s impassioned speech

Republican Kari Lake, who is still in the trenches fighting against the “botched” election in Arizona and refusing to concede due to voter fraud, retweeted an eloquent and passionately patriotic speech by Matt Baker, whom the media is casting as an InfoWars conspiracy theorist.

Baker spoke before the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and railed against voter fraud in the midterm elections in Arizona. His frequent appearances on Alex Jones’ show, however, do not make him wrong on the issue. Yet, evidently out of abject fear of Lake, the media is apparently doing its level best to tie her to Baker and smear both of them.

Lake retweeted Baker’s speech on Sunday. The clip went viral and with good reason. He voiced what many out there are thinking but are afraid to say. Baker is anti-Covid vaccine, considers Dr. Anthony Fauci to be evil-incarnate, and is against big government. Therefore, he is branded as a nut by the left because he is opposed to a New World Order.

Lake retweeted actor James Woods, who originally sent out the clip of Baker speaking last Wednesday, stating, “I am ashamed to say I would not give this fellow a second thought if I passed him in the street. Having watched this speech, however, I am now in awe of his eloquence and patriotism. Maricopa County is the new Zimbabwe.”

As a testament to Baker’s views being shared by many Americans, his speech has been viewed over 4 million times.

When Lake retweeted Woods, she added, “Arizona’s current mood.”

“Once again, the eyes of the world are upon Maricopa County for another botched election,” Matt Baker told the supervisors. “Am I here to accuse you of stealing the vote? Heavens, no, for that would make me a terrorist, wouldn’t it?”

“Let me ask you. If you took your life savings to a bank and the teller put them in a machine, and the machine kicked out one out of four of your bills, and the teller said, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll put them in box three over here and we’ll let you know how many were in there later,’” Baker said referring to ballot boxes.

“Now ask Mark Zuckerberg that question which is more valuable your money or your vote or your country or this world or the corruption that is taking over every single county in this nation. And then you look into your own soul and you look back at yourself in the mirror and realize that you are the cancer that is tearing this nation apart,” he continued.

Leftist media outlets such as Mediaite detailed some of Baker’s appearances on Alex Jones’ show to discredit him. Unfortunately for them, it seems to have had the exact opposite effect.

Tens of thousands of Arizona voters are still encouraging Lake to fight the results of the election there that was dragged out for more than a week. She is asserting that “printer problems, tabulation errors, 3-hour-plus lines or longer, and confusing instructions given by election officials” made Election Day the “most chaotic in Arizona’s history,” according to the Washington Examiner.

Lake went on to claim that half of the voting centers that opened for the first time on Nov. 8 were “not operational” or had “significant failures” and that those affected were “overwhelmingly” her voters.

“Would you get on a plane if HALF of the engines didn’t work?” she asked in a letter that was released Monday. “Would our friends in the media be able to broadcast their nightly propaganda if HALF of their studio equipment was not working?”

Lake went on to charge that the “2022 general election in Arizona was botched and broken beyond repair,” continuing claims that voters who went in person on Election Day were “disenfranchised” by broken machines and long lines.

This isn’t about Republicans or Democrats,” Lake noted. “This is about our sacred right to vote, a right that many voters were sadly deprived of on November 8.”

“Whether it was done accidentally or intentionally, it is clear that this election is a debacle that destroyed any trust in our elections,” she charged.
