Progressives have created a real conundrum for themselves with their inane critical gender theory in the face of the Supreme Court reportedly set to overturn Roe v. Wade.
It’s difficult to stand for women’s rights when defining a woman is such an enigma. On the other hand, it’s remarkable how quickly many on the left suddenly understood fully what a woman is given the groundbreaking development.
The latter understanding having yet to reach State Rep. Francesca Hong, the first Asian American lawmaker in Wisconsin’s legislature, who represents weak-kneed, mealy-mouthed Democrats all across America who long ago caved to the radical left elements of the LGBTQ+ community and their gender insanity.
Taking to Twitter to voice support for abortion, insisting that the ability to kill an unborn baby is a right, Hong couldn’t bring it upon herself to use the term “woman,” this being the quagmire Democrats face in kneeling to the extreme elements of their party, and instead used the term “birthing bodies.” You know, because men too can have babies, according to this cabal.
“Birthing bodies have the right to freedom,” Hong tweeted. “Deciding if or when to become a parent is one of the most personal, life-changing decisions. Access to abortion & reproductive care is a decision we must trust each person to make based on what’s best for their health & their future.”

Even those with a more liberal take on the issue of abortion struggled to tolerate the insanity of it all, this being yet another sign Democrats are about to encounter a major course correction in November:
So we have the misogyny of the people who want to control women’s bodies vs the misogyny of the people who prefer to erase women altogether and refer to them as “birthing bodies.”
Pick your poison I guess.

It is like being called “a breeder.” It feels like abuse, not just towards woman but towards human beings outright. It is disgusting.

Hong’s tweet drew plenty of online responses. Here’s a quick sampling from Twitter, beginning with conservative journalist Daniel Greenfield who flipped the script to ask, “what rights do ‘birthed bodies’ have?”

“Birthing bodies.”
But presumably not pre-born bodies.
These ridiculous people. https://t.co/MC1Huxlzb4

“Birthing bodies”
Women don’t exist so no need for “women’s rights” I guess https://t.co/lmZcp3RVVg

Imaging calling a woman who desperately wants an abortion ‘a birthing body’, reducing her to the very function she does not want to perform. https://t.co/9kH7PiFPiC

Dems were handed an issue to rally their base, but because of gender ideology they can’t help but fumble it by using terms like “birthing bodies” instead of “women.” It’s quite the sight to behold. https://t.co/eZX8H2zlR6

If you cannot say the word women you cannot be an effective advocate for women.

The point of abortion is to prevent having to give birth so the term “birthing bodies” is contradictory (and demeaning).
