The Democratic Party seems to thrive on the weakness the party helps facilitate with its radical left social justice agenda.
In deference to its hypersensitive base, the DNC distributed a message that contained an opt-out option for those who might be triggered over Father’s Day… you know, because of the whole patriarchy thing and those who may have had traumatic relationships with their fathers, not to mention those who grow up in single mother homes — the United States has the highest rate of single parent homes in the world, with nearly 80 percent of those homes headed by single mothers, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Never mind that in the eyes of many, the “welfare state” ushered in by the Democratic Party is largely responsible for this, where mothers are incentivized to remain single and let big government assume the role of the father in the household.
“We know that Father’s Day isn’t the easiest time for all of us. So, if you’d like to not receive emails or texts about it please sign up here to opt out,” the DNC informed its base in the run up to the day set aside to honor fatherhood, which is celebrated this coming Sunday.
But even those who don’t necessarily embrace Father’s Day took exception to the party pandering to the weak: “So emblematic of where we are as a culture. I get it. Father’s Day hurts. Lots of us have wounds there. But JFC, it’s insulting to be thought this weak. Our enemies must be drooling. We’re not strong enough to handle **getting emails**, much less defending ourselves.”

Not to worry, though, with America’s new “woke” military, who would dare think to attack a nation so rich in the strength of diversity.
Meanwhile, the Father’s Day “opt out” appears to be a thing, according to social media users:
It’s a trend. Got this one last week and was like WTF… too bizarre. pic.twitter.com/j1vATn2ZEq

Here’s a sampling of other responses to the story from Twitter:
When I hear “father” I feel negative emotions, because my father was an abusive bastard who made it very clear that he never loved me, and a lot of very bad memories jump to mind. Given the percentage of people in the US with absent or abusive fathers, this is fairly common.

We know Mondays are traumatic. So if you’d like us to refrain from emailing you…

That doesn’t seem real.

Did they send one out on Mother’s Day too?

Yep you are correct. People fall for anything
