Dems desperate attempt to blame Trump for ‘record’ grocery prices backfires BIGLY

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) added to its recent string of embarrassing woes when it had to delete a chart posted to social media blaming President Donald J. Trump for grocery prices.

In a Thursday post to X, the Democrats’ official account posted the graphic with the caption “Trump’s America,” that showed spikes in the prices of cheese, dairy, produce, meat and alcohol, stating that “Prices are higher today than they were on July 2024 all in major categories listed below,” not divulging the source of the data.

However, whoever was in charge of proof reading on the social media team at the DNC may have been imbibing in alcohol because there was a problem with the graph that went unnoticed until after it was posted, and it was a big one.

The period covered ran from October 2019 until October 2024 with the “record” prices starting to spike in 2021 – when Joe Biden was president, a period when Americans were sucker-punched by “Bidenomics” and the worst inflation in four decades.

Whoops.

The Democrats quickly noticed the mistake and deleted the erroneous post but not before it was noticed, resulting in a deluge of ridicule for a party that is unable to stop beclowning itself.

The White House’s Rapid Response X account posted a corrected version, putting the blame where it rightly belongs.

Other users joined in on the fun, unable to believe the stupidity of the post and the Democrats’ mistaken belief that they would use it to own Trump.

Under Biden, grocery prices surged more than 22 percent according to federal data, a fact so obvious that even CNN had to admit it last fall.

And once again, the Democrats were left with egg dripping down their faces.
